(Suddenly, Mew's voice calls out.)
Mew: "Casey, this isn't fair!"
(Casey turns around in surprise, which turns to slight annoyance.)
Casey: "Tough luck! I saw this Scyther way before you did!"
Mew: "I'm not talking about me, this isn't fair to Chikorita! You're pushing it too hard. It's barely hanging on, it's too weak to attack."
(Mew says.)
(Casey rebuttals.)
Casey: "What do you know? Chikorita's gonna do whatever I tell it to."
(Hearing its trainer, Chikorita gets distracted, allowing Scyther to swat it off its face and into a tree.)
Casey: "Chikorita, no!"
(Casey cries out.)
(Scyther charges in.)
(But Mew intervenes.)
Mew: "Pikachu, use your Thunder Shock attack!"
(Pikachu fires the attack and saves Chikorita from being sliced.)
(Mew then calls out.)
Mew: "Hey! Over here! Over here!"
Pikachu: "Pika Pika!" (Come and get us!)
(Pikachu calls out.)
Eevee: "Eevee Eevee?!" (Bet you can't?!)
(Eevee calls out.)
Mew: "What's the matter, Scyther? Tired?"
(Mew teases.)
(Then the three mock Scyther, gaming its attention angrily while Casey looks rather baffled.)
Mew: "We'll handle Scyther! You let Chikorita get some rest!"
(Mew says.)
(Then Mew, Pikachu, and Eevee run off with Scyther in pursuit.)
(Tomo turns to Jen.)
Tomo: "Come on, let's go follow them."
Jen: "Right."
(Jen says.)
(And Tomo, Jen and their Pokemon follow them as well.)
(Casey soon grows rather irritated.)
Casey: "We'll just see about that! Chikorita! We can't let it get away with..."
(but soon notices Chikorita is gone.)
Casey: "Chikorita? Chikorita?!"
(Back at the stands, the group watches what happened.)
Brock: "Looks like Team Casey may have to hit the showers."
(Brock says.)
(Suddenly, Misty notices Togepi and Pichu are not there.)
Misty: "Togepi? Pichu?"
(Suddenly, Brock notices something on the screen.)
Brock: "Misty, look there!"
(The group looks to see Togepi and Pichu have wandered into the contest area.)
(Misty is shocked.)
Misty: "Togepi! Pichu!"
(Meanwhile, in the forest, Chikorita is sitting on the ground, feeling tired and discouraged.)
Togepi: "Toge Toge?" (Chikorita?)
(Togepi questions.)
(Chikorita looks and sees Togepi and Pichu coming their way.)
(Pichu asks.)
Pichu: "Pichu Pichu? (I thought you were with Casey.)
Chikorita: "Chiko." (I was.)
(Chikorita says.)
(Then Togepi asks.)
Togepi: "Toge? Toge Toge." (Was? But you're in the contest.)
(Chikorita shakes its head and says.)
Chikorita: "Chiko." (Not anymore.)
(Soon, Casey comes running over.)
Casey: "Hey, Chikorita! Let's get Scyther!"
(However, Chikorita gets up and walks away.)
Chikorita: "Hey, you get back here! Quitters aren't allowed on this team! We have to win this game!"
(The rest of the gang soon arrive as Casey berates Chikorita, and have heard everything.)
(Misty says.)
Misty: "At least someone knows when to quit!"
Casey: "What do you mean?"
(Casey asks.)
(Togepi and Pichu are happy to see their mommy.)
Misty: "Togepi. Pichu."
(Misty says, picks up her Pokemon, and hugs them.)
Misty: "Oh, you had me so worried."
(Then turns to Casey.)
Misty: "Casey."
Casey: "What, Misty?"
(Casey asks.)
(Misty then questions.)
Misty: "What's more important to you, winning some contest, or the well-being of your Pokemon?"
Casey: "How can you even ask me that? My Pokémon means everything to me!"
(Casey angrily says, which catches Chikorita's attention and looks to hear the conversation.)
Misty: "Well, if that's true, you sure have a funny way of showing it."
(Misty says.)
(Casey is even more confused.)
(Misty continues.)
Misty: "Chikorita knocked itself out for you, but you're so focused on winning you can't see when it's too exhausted to battle."
Casey: "Well..."
(Casey tries to speak.)
(But Brock also says.)
Brock: "Your feelings aren't the only ones that count."
(The words get through to Casey, and she drops to her knees in tears as Chikorita rushes out of the bushes to her.)
Casey: "You came back."
(Casey says, relieved.)
(In remorse, Casey says.)
Casey: "Chikorita. I'm sorry, Chikorita. I pushed you way too hard. I was thinking so much about winning that... I forgot all about caring. I've been so selfish. Please, Chikorita. Please forgive me!"
(Chikorita touches the tip of Casey's cap.)
Casey: "Chikorita."
(Casey says.)
(Chikorita happily says.)
Chikorita: "Chiko." (Casey.)
(Then Chikorita nuzzles up to Casey and Casey gives Chikorita a hug.)
Casey: "I don't deserve a Pokemon like you. Thank you so so much!"
(Casey says.)
(Misty and the others are glad that Casey and Chikorita made up.)
(Meanwhile, Tomo and Jen are soon fighting against Scyther after chasing Mew and her Pokemon.)
Tomo: "Meloetta, use Psybeam!"
(Tomo calls out.)
(Meloetta uses Psybeam and it strikes Scyther with full force.)
(Then Tomo calls out.)
Tomo: "Use Hyper voice."
(Meloetta lets out a Hyper Voice, distracting Scyther.)
(Then something falls out of the tree nearby and lands on Jen's head.)
(Tomo then throws the Pokeball.)
Tomo: "Go Park Ball!"
(The Park Ball hits Scyther and Tomo is able to catch it.)
Tomo: "That was too close."
(Tomo says.)
(Mew, Eevee, and Pikachu peek from the bushes.)
Mew: "Yeah. Thanks for helping us."
(Mew says.)
(Unknown to Mew, something crawls on to her bag, and sneaks inside.)
(Then hear something behind them.)
(They turn to see glowing red eyes staring at them.)
(Soon, the eyes revealed to be a swarm of Beedrill.)
(Mew cries out.)
Mew: "Beedrill!"
(Everyone gets out of the way of the swarm.)
(Some even begin to charge in towards them.)
(Mew calls out.)
Mew: "Eevee, try a Thunderbolt!"
(Eevee then uses Thunderbolt and shocks some of the Beedrill.)
Mew: "Nice job!"
(Mew says and brings out her Park Ball.)
(She then throws it.)
Mew: "Park Ball, go!"
(The Park Ball hits right on the target, and Mew catches it, the ball starts to wiggle around before it stops and pings, and the catch is a success.)
Mew: "Alright! We caught a Beedrill!"
(Mew says.)
Tomo: "That was great."
(Tomo says.)
Jen: "Yeah. Great catch."
(Jen says.)
Mew: "Thanks."
(Mew says.)
(Then notices the Pokemon in Jen's arms.)
Mew: "That's an interesting catch as well."
(In Jen's arms is a small, brown, beetle-like Pokémon.)
(It has four horn-like protrusions on its head, and its face is pink with lazy eyes, a bulbous nose, and black curved stripes over and under it that resemble a unibrow and a chinstrap beard.)
(Its abdomen has a rounded yellow pattern, and it has four long limbs, each tipped with two claws.)
(On its back is a random pattern of beige stripes resembling a maze.)
Jen: "I agree."
(Jen says as the Pokemon climbs on Jen's head.)
Tomo: "What Pokemon is that?"
(Tomo asks.)
Mew: "Let's see."
(Mew says, and brings out her Pokedex.)
(Dexter says.)
Dexter: "Rellor, the Rolling Pokemon. A Bug Type. This Pokémon creates a mud ball by mixing sand and dirt with psychic energy. It treasures its mud ball more than its own life. Place of origin is the Paldea Region."
Tomo: "Cool, we found another one of the Pokemon."
(Tomo says.)
Mew: "Yeah."
(Mew says.)
Mew: "Come on, let's continue forward."
(But before they can, the ground suddenly gives out under them as they fall into a pit.)
Mew: "Don't worry. It's just a lame Team Rocket trap."
(Mew says, annoyed.)
