(Suddenly, they hear Casey's voice.)
Casey: "Chikorita, Razor Leaf attack!"
(Then Chikorita blasts the other Weedle.)
Casey: "Gotcha!"
(Casey says and throws the Pokeball.)
Casey: "Now, Park Ball, go!"
(Casey throws her Pokeball and catches the other Weedle.)
Casey: "Alright! It's one, nothing!"
Mew: "Hi Casey."
(Mew says.)
Casey: "Hi Mew."
(Casey says.)
Jen: "You sure caught that Weedle fast."
(Jen says.)
Casey: "Whenever the other team lets their guard down and the Electabuzz see their chance to steal a home, they do it. And you know why? They play heads-up baseball! Whether it's the top of the first or the bottom of the ninth, I always swing for the fences!"
Mew: "I'm sorry, I don't speak baseball."
(Mew says.)
(Meanwhile, Misty and the others see Mew and Casey catch a Pokemon.)
Brock: "Well, looks like Mew and Casey got a good catch."
(Brock says.)
Misty: "Yeah."
(Misty says.)
(Suddenly, Misty hears Togpei and turns to see Togpei, Pichu, and Molly have made new friends.)
(On Molly's shoulder is a lime-green arachnid Pokémon whose body is wrapped in a ball of white threads that it secretes from its rear.)
(Its face has white patterns that flank its two eyes on either side, as well as two pairs of protrusions resembling chelicerae and pedipalps, which hides a tiny mouth on the bottom of its head.)
(It has eight spindly legs tipped with a dark green color on the ends.)
(Next to Togepi and Pichu is a gray, oblong, insectoid Pokémon resembling a grasshopper, with dark gray colorations on its face, back, and legs.)
(Its head has two stubby semicircular antennae, a circle on its snout resembling a mouth or nose, and yellow compound eyes shaped like rounded crosses, complete with cross-shaped black pupils.)
(Its body is divided by lines into multiple segments, and it has an X-shaped pattern on its underside. It has six legs: two pairs of legs are located on the sides of its body, and each of the forelimbs are dark gray and contain a single claw.)
(The third pair of legs is located above its body and is much larger; they are oblong in shape and solid dark gray in color, with light gray ring patterns over the joints.)
Misty: "Aww, looks like Molly, Togpei, and Pichu made a new friend."
(Misty says.)
Brock: "Never seen those Bug Pokemon before."
(Brock says.)
Misty: "Huh. I wonder if they're Paldea Pokemon."
(Misty says.)
(Meanwhile, at a waterfall deep in the park, Team Rocket are up to another one of their plans.)
(Annoyed that she's dressed in a Venomoth costume, Jessie says.)
Jessie: "I don't see why I have to be the bait."
Meowth: "Coz you're suited for da part, Jessie!"
(Meowth answers.)
(And James says.)
James: "You look positively alluring!"
Jessie: "You really think so?"
(Jessie asks.)
(And happily says.)
Jessie: "Well, I do suppose my poise and my exceptional good looks are rather magnetic! Could any species resist my beauty? Not likely."
(Soon, a Venomoth approaches.)
James; "Look! A Venomoth!"
(James notices.)
Meowth: "And it's spotted ya!"
(Meowth says.)
(Then Venomoth approaches Jessie with curiosity.)
James: "It's curious."
(James says.)
(Then Meowth says.)
Meowth: "Okay, Jess. Toin on the charm."
(Jessie giggles.)
Jessie: "Well, I'll try. Hi! Don't be bashful. Let's get acquainted, shall we?"
(However, Venomoth turns and flees at top speed, leaving behind spores to dissuade pursuit.)
(Upset, Jessie shouts.)
Jessie: "Come back here! You can't reject me!"
(But notices the spore coming down on her.)
Jessie: "Must be Stun Spore."
(and collapses to the ground, slightly shaking.)
Jessie: "This won't work, these Bug Pokémon don't know a good thing when they see it."
(And it's revealed that James and Meowth ar hit with Stun Spore as well.)
James: "Let's go to Plan B."
(James says.)
(And Meowth says.)
Meowth: "Yeah, or maybe Plan Beedrill."
(Meanwhile, Casey and Chikorita are still searching for more Big Types.)
Casey: "Let's do a little bug hunting, Chikorita."
(Casey says.)
(And Chikorita agrees.)
(Casey calls out.)
Casey: "Okay, Tackle attack that tree!"
(Chikorita charges and hits the target, knocking down a group of Pineco.)
Casey: "Alright!"
(Casey happily says.)
(Meanwhile, the rest watches the event, and the two new Pokemon friends are with them a well, both sitting on Molly and Misty's lap.)
Misty: "Those are Pineco! They're not bug Pokemon!"
(Misty says.)
(But Brock says.)
Brock: "They may not look it, but they are. They evolve into Forretress."
Misty: "For bug Pokémon, they're not too bad."
(Misty says.)
(Meanwhile, the Pineco charges at Chikorita.)
(Casey calls out.)
Casey: "They're gonna try to Tackle you, Chikorita!"
(Then puts on umpire gear.)
Casey: "When a runner comes charging home, you gotta block the plate!"
(Chikortia retaliates with a series of tackles of its own along with fast dodging.)
(Casey calls out.)
Casey: "Don't let em score on you, Chikorita!"
(Soon, Mew and the others come up from behind.)
Mew: "Pineco, huh? Better be careful, Pineco have the advantage over Chikorita."
(Mew says.)
Casey: "I know it."
(Casey says.)
Casey: "But a good offense is the best defense."
(Then calls out to Chikorita.)
Casey: "Chikorita, send your whole batting order up to the plate, now! Hit, hit, hit, and clean up! Go, Razor Leaf!"
(The attack launches and hits the whole swarm.)
(Jen says.)
Jen: "I'll help you Casey. Amaura, use Aurora Beam!"
(Amaura then uses the attack to hit the swarm as well.)
(Casey and Jen then throw their Park Balls.)
Casey and Jen: "Go!"
(And each of them catches a Pineco.)
Brock: "A winning inning!"
(Brock says.)
Misty: "Wow! Chikorita's an all-star!"
(Misty says.)
Casey: "We're two for two! We beat the Weedle and the Pineco! We'll beat even better bugs! Won't we, Chikorita?!"
(Casey says.)
(Then Casey heads off with Chikorita.)
Mew: "This game isn't over yet, guys. Let's go."
(Mew says.)
(Everyone agrees.)
(Misty turns to the others.)
Misty: "Everyone is doing well, especially Casey."
Brock: "She's definitely got momentum on her side."
(Brock says.)
(Unknown to the others, Togpei and Pichu wander off.)
Misty: "Yeah. It's going to be difficult to tell who's going to win this contest."
(Misty says.)
(Meanwhile, Chikorita is starting to get exhausted.)
(Casey turns to Chikorita.)
Casey: "Hey, what's the matter, Chikorita? We gotta keep our team spirit high till we win the game!"
(Chikorita agrees and presses on.)
(Soon, Casey spots something ahead, a Scyther.)
Casey: "Alright! A Scyther! This is our big chance! If we bring back a Scyther, we're almost guaranteed to win the contest!"
(Casey says with confidence.)
(Chikorita agrees with confidence as well.)
(Casey says.)
Casey: "First, we'll knock it out of the box and show it who's boss! Play ball! Razor Leaf attack!"
(The attack lands, but Chikorita is breathing hard.)
Casey: "Strike one! Nice pitch, Chikorita!"
(Casey says.)
(However, Scyther gets back up and is ready to fight, and charges towards the worried Chikorita.)
(Casey calls out.)
Casey: "Don't be afraid now, Chikorita! Stay tough and hang in there!"
(Scyther lands an attack at Chikorita, causing everyone who is watching to worry.)
Casey: "Chikorita!"
(Casey cries out in worry.)
(Chikorita soon falls to the ground.)
(Casey then calls out.)
Casey: "Chikorita, don't give up! The count's one and one! Throw a Razor Leaf!"
(Chikorita soon gets back up and charges in for a better shot, but Scyther strikes back again.)
(Casey calls out.)
Casey: "Come on, Chikorita! The count's two and one! You can't let Scyther walk! Try another Razor Leaf!"
(Chikorita uses Razor Leaf, but Scyther blocks and reflects the attack.)
(Some fly back at Chikorita.)
(Casey calls out.)
Casey: "It's a line drive! Look out!"
(But the reflected attack hit Chikorita hard.)
Casey: "Oh, no! Chikorita, get up! And hurry!"
(Casey calls out.)
(Chikorita struggles to get back on its feet as Scyther charges again, but Chikorita leaps into the battle once more and lands on Scyther's face, blinding it.)
(Chikorita struggles to hang on.)
(Casey calls out.)
Casey: "Keep it up, Chikorita! You're not out of the inning yet!"
