However, this time—just as the crescent-shaped light blade broke through space and approached her—Hun Moli suddenly realized that the move wasn't a bluff. It was a real strike. But it was already too late to construct a proper defense. She could only quickly gather her Dou Qi and thrust her palm forward to meet it. The moment they collided, the light blade shattered after a brief struggle.
Although she successfully destroyed the attack, Hun Moli's expression darkened. Even as she shattered the strike, a trace of searing, hidden force infiltrated her meridians. Fortunately, she detected it in time and promptly expelled it from her body before it could erupt.
Hun Moli secretly breathed a sigh of relief. If not for the vast difference in strength between them, that chain of attacks might have inflicted real injuries. She never expected such a seemingly weak technique to actually carry force approaching a high Earth Rank Dou Technique. If their power levels had been closer, she might've been in serious trouble.
Meanwhile, after executing the Emperor Seal Technique and Gentle Wind Phantom Flame Slash, Xiao Yan's complexion turned pale, clearly showing heavy consumption of Dou Qi. That saved Hun Moli some effort. Just as she was preparing to subdue him completely, Xiao Yan—despite his exhausted appearance—suddenly smiled.
Raising a finger, he tapped lightly at the space in front of him.
In the next instant, an enormous azure finger formed entirely of condensed Dou Qi tore through space and appeared right before Hun Moli. Crimson flames curled and burned along its surface, and as it emerged, even the surrounding space began to collapse.
"Ten Hells Azure Flame Finger!"
Seeing that massive azure finger, Hun Moli's face turned grim. She could clearly feel the power it radiated. Even if it wasn't a true Heaven Rank Dou Technique, it was close—at least quasi-Heaven Rank. Even for someone at her level, dealing with this attack would be a hassle.
What puzzled her, however, was how such a powerful attack had escaped her notice until now. A technique like this would normally produce immense energy fluctuations.
But the answer quickly came to her.
She hadn't failed to notice it. The energy wave had been masked by Gentle Wind Phantom Flame Slash. She had dismissed the earlier disturbance as another bluff—but Xiao Yan had used that very moment to prepare this devastating strike.
No wonder his face had gone so pale.
Under normal conditions, she would never have let Xiao Yan finish preparing such a move.
"Crafty brat!" Hun Moli cursed in her heart. She hadn't expected him to hold onto such a powerful trump card. Nor did she expect someone under fifteen to be this cunning. Still, regardless of how unpleasant it was, she had to deal with the attack first.
Drawing a deep breath, she surged her Dou Qi in preparation.
Xiao Yan, meanwhile, had already stuffed a handful of pills into his mouth. Without waiting for the medicinal energy to fully disperse, he summoned the Nine Nether Illusion Heart Flame, then swiftly split the ghostly blue fire into four different Heavenly Flames.
He knew well—Ten Hells Azure Flame Finger was strong, but not enough to defeat Hun Moli outright. After all, what he had summoned was only a half-formed version.
The full version of Ten Hells Azure Flame Finger was a genuine Heaven Rank Dou Technique. But due to his limited strength, all he could conjure was a half-sized finger. Still, even that fragment carried quasi-Heaven Rank power. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to decisively defeat Hun Moli—so he needed something even stronger.
And among all the abilities he could currently execute, only the Demonic Wrath Flame Lotus had that kind of destructive force.
As Xiao Yan began fusing the four Heavenly Flames, the half-formed azure finger roared across space and slammed toward Hun Moli. She shouted a low cry and summoned countless black chains to weave into a giant serpent.
The black chain serpent hissed as it charged at the azure finger. The moment they collided, terrifying waves of force blasted outward, flattening the terrain for thousands of meters in every direction. The sky around them shattered like fragile glass, spatial rifts forming at random.
But the serpent didn't last long—within seconds, it exploded into fragments.
Still, the azure finger dimmed noticeably from the exchange.
Hun Moli wasted no time. Her hands danced through seals, summoning another series of powerful attacks. Blows rained down in rapid succession, further eroding the giant finger's energy.
Eventually, the enormous finger crumbled into sparks under her relentless assault.
Before she could even breathe a sigh of relief, an even more terrifying wave of energy surged up from below. Her gaze snapped downward.
Xiao Yan was fusing four different-colored Heavenly Flames in his hands.
Even with her strength, Hun Moli's pupils contracted.
Now she finally understood why Xiao Yan's Heavenly Flame Three Mysterious Change had such exaggerated amplification.
He actually had four Heavenly Flames!
And judging by the energy gathering in his palms, he was clearly preparing another technique—one far more terrifying than even Ten Hells Azure Flame Finger.
"I can't let him finish this one!"
Hun Moli's eyes turned icy. She shot forward and appeared above Xiao Yan in an instant, ready to strike him down before the technique completed.
But just as her palm was about to descend, several silver figures suddenly appeared and launched attacks at her.
"Puppets?" Hun Moli muttered coldly.
The sudden appearance of the silver puppets didn't faze her. With a snort, she swatted them aside with a single palm. These constructs, though at the level of five- or six-star Dou Zongs, were far beneath her.
Yet, even after being knocked back, the puppets immediately resumed their pursuit, trying to pin her down.
Annoyed, Hun Moli clenched her hand. Chains lashed out, instantly shattering the puppets one by one.
But the chains didn't stop there.
After crushing the puppets, they surged toward Xiao Yan with unstoppable momentum. Even with his Little Glazed Gold Body, they could very well pierce through his skull.
Just then, Xiao Yan shifted his foot ever so slightly and dodged cleanly through the flurry of chains.
Such a strange movement skill—naturally—it was Flame Shadow Sky Stride.
This high Earth Rank movement Dou Technique had been trained by Xiao Yan to great proficiency. While his cultivation level didn't allow him to outpace someone like Hun Moli, it was still more than enough to dodge incoming attacks.
