Gu Yue tilted her head slightly, her silver hair fluttering in the breeze. "What are your plans next?"

Gu La retracted the surging power of his martial soul and shrugged casually. "What else can I plan for? This is the time to lie low. The environment at Shrek Academy is perfect for our growth."

A sharp gleam flashed in his eyes. "Especially when it comes to battle armor and mecha technology. If we can forge Divine-level battle armor, it would be a qualitative leap for both you and me."

"Does battle armor have such potential?" Gu Yue's gaze flickered, her tone tinged with skepticism.

"It's just an idea," Gu La said lightly, though images of Tang Wulin's ultimate evolution into Divine-level battle armor from the original story floated through his mind.

In the future, as Tang Wulin unlocks the seventeen seals, his battle armor will even evolve into a six-word divine artifact, comparable to a super-divine weapon (Ultra Divine Tool).

He clenched his fist inwardly. To surpass the protagonist, he had to excel in every aspect.

His goals were not modest—he aimed to surpass Tang Wulin, or else all his advantages would be wasted.

Gu Yue gazed thoughtfully at Gu La. From what she knew of this fellow creature, he never did anything without purpose. It seemed that the path of battle armor was indeed worth investing more effort into. A divine artifact that combined defense and amplification held significant meaning for her as well.

"By the way, is there a rare metal called Hydrogold in the Star Dou Great Forest?"

Gu La suddenly remembered: "The alloy I'll forge for us has a fusion rate of at least 95%, capable of fusing the properties of nine rare metals."

"With so many rare metals, conflicts are inevitable, which could hinder their full potential. We need Hydrogold as the core to balance and harmonize the other eight metals."

Hydrogold was an exceptionally rare metal. While it had no amplification effects itself, it possessed the unique ability to harmonize and balance other metals.

It could help battle armor unleash its full power, but it was exceedingly rare—Divine Craftsman Zhen Hua himself only had one piece in his collection.

Gu Yue turned her gaze to Di Tian, who stood quietly nearby. The Black Dragon King pondered briefly: "Master, we do have five pieces stored away. To prevent them from falling into human hands, I've personally kept them safe."

"Bring them to him," Gu Yue commanded decisively.

"Yes." Di Tian dared not question her and promptly left.

Gu La inwardly rejoiced. As expected of the ruler of soul beasts—even a dead camel was larger than a horse. With the vast resources of the Star Dou Great Forest at their disposal, they could easily find treasures rarely seen in the outside world.

Not long after, when Di Tian presented the piece of metal shimmering with a golden glow, Gu La couldn't help but hold his breath.

The surface of the metal flowed with a liquid-like luster, as if it contained the eternal principles of heaven and earth. He carefully took it, feeling the subtle energy fluctuations within through his fingertips.

"Thank you." Gu La solemnly stowed away the precious treasure, already beginning to sketch out the blueprint for his future battle armor in his mind. With the backing of the Star Dou Great Forest's resources, his plans would surely progress twice as fast with half the effort.

Having gained something valuable, Gu La didn't hesitate to give back: "You should focus on designing your own battle armor soon. Leave the rest of the steps to me."

Gu Yue nodded slightly. Now that she was more invested in battle armor, she naturally needed to spend more time on its design.

The two exchanged some insights on battle armor design before Di Tian escorted them back to Shrek City.

---

The lingering rays of the setting sun bathed the playground of Shrek Academy, casting a golden glow over the running track.

Tang Wulin was leading the Zero Class students in their daily laps, his steps steady and powerful, each stride firm. Sweat trickled down his face, shimmering like crystal under the sunset.

"Keep your breathing rhythm!" Tang Wulin called back to Xie Xie and Xu Xiaoyan behind him. "Just five more laps!"

At that moment, a gentle breeze carried a faint, alluring fragrance. A commotion erupted at the edge of the field, and many students paused their training, their gazes converging on the same spot.

"Brother!"

The voice was as clear as a bubbling spring, brimming with uncontainable excitement. Tang Wulin's steps faltered—the voice… the title… he hadn't heard it in five years.

His heart pounded fiercely in his chest as he slowly turned, his gaze sweeping past the crowd.

A silver-haired girl with violet eyes stood at the edge of the track, her pure white dress swaying gently in the breeze, resembling a blooming lily.

The sunlight enveloped her in a soft halo, making her skin appear as white as snow. Five years had passed, and Na'er had grown into a graceful young woman, but those amethyst eyes and the playful smile at the corner of her lips were unmistakable.

The silver-haired girl paid no heed to the awestruck gazes around her. Upon spotting Tang Wulin and the others on the field, her violet eyes sparkled with emotion.

"Na'er?!" His voice trembled slightly, barely able to believe his eyes.

Na'er jogged over to him, tears welling up in her large purple eyes. "Brother, I'm back."

Tang Wulin froze in place, his hands instinctively rising and then dropping, as if afraid that the figure before him might vanish like a dream.

It wasn't until Na'er threw herself into his arms that the realness of the moment finally sank in.

"You little rascal… where have you been these five years? How have you been? Has anyone bullied you?"

Tang Wulin held his sister tightly, his voice choked with emotion. He could feel that the girl in his arms had grown much taller than in his memories, but her dependence and affection remained unchanged.

At the edge of the field, Wu Zhangkong frowned, about to step forward to stop the disruption to training. Shen Yi quickly pulled him back.

"Senior Brother, that's Pavilion Master Yun Ming's personal disciple, Na'er, with the martial soul Silver Dragon Spear. The master specifically arranged for her to come to the outer academy for exchange and study."

Wu Zhangkong's icy blue eyes flickered with surprise. "Disciple of Pavilion Master Yun Ming?" He glanced at the embracing siblings, his stern expression softening slightly. "But the cultivation environment in the outer academy is far inferior to that of the inner academy."

"The master has already arranged everything. She can return to Sea God Island to train every day," Shen Yi explained, her gaze involuntarily drawn to the reunited siblings.

"As for why she's here in the outer academy… I heard it's because the Spirit Pagoda has been too ostentatious lately in the outer academy." Shen Yi lowered her voice. "The elder masters of Sea God Pavilion couldn't tolerate it any longer."

Meanwhile, as Na'er spoke with Tang Wulin, her gaze subtly scanned the surroundings.

She was searching for the presence that filled her with both awe and an irresistible sense of closeness—Gu Yue, her primary personality. Upon confirming that Gu Yue wasn't present, she let out a barely perceptible sigh of relief.

Over the past seven years, though she had been taken in as a disciple by Yun Ming and enjoyed the best resources and guidance on Sea God Island, she had always refrained from contacting Gu Yue.

Partly, it was due to Yun Ming's strict demands; partly, the deep-seated fear of reintegration had never left her. She cherished the beauty of human life and feared losing herself, as well as causing pain to her brother and teacher.
