What kind of eyes were those?
Golden flames flowed within them, yet strangely, they were mixed with wind and snow.
The two elements merged, and countless bolts of thunder sank into them, transforming into black death.
But a second later, life "broke through the ground" within them, radiating a milky white light.
At this moment, those eyes seemed to contain an entire universe.
Everything within them evolved, was born, and perished.
One glance was enough to pull you in completely—your very soul drawn irresistibly toward them.
And that was only the most superficial layer.
When Russell was first promoted to a singular existence, his astral body had, for a brief 0.01 seconds, glimpsed the mysteries of the universe and transformed into a swirling nebula.
Now, with his promotion to a multidimensional being, his astral body had completely become Chaos itself.
After gaining the spatial and worldly attributes of the Dark Dimension, even deeper changes began to unfold.
A new world was taking shape within Russell's soul—utterly different from the universes and timelines within the Eternal Body.
It was more like the mythical Kingdom of God.
There were no universes, no stars—only endless land.
Rivers, lakes, plateaus, snow-capped mountains, deserts, crimson flames, frozen tundras, oceans, and abysses—every terrain of the real world existed here.
There was no sun in the sky, only a massive silver city suspended high above.
Its true form could not be seen clearly, only the vague outline of an enormous, radiant structure gleaming with silver light.
From within came the faint sound of holy chanting.
Countless white feathers drifted slowly down from the silver city, and wherever they touched the ground, life emerged—birds, fish, beasts—countless living beings numbering in the hundreds of millions.
Yet there was no intelligent life, as if the world was still waiting for something.
Back in reality, all the strange visions in Russell's eyes faded, along with the surging energy within his body and the colorful divine light that had shone behind his head.
To any observer, he now appeared like an ordinary human.
The truth, however, was far different—no life form beneath the level of a multidimensional being could perceive or look directly at his true form.
At that moment, the voice of the system rang out again:
[Lifeform evolution detected — successful]
[Mind Field (evolved) — integrated with divine power]
[Mind Kingdom — established]
His limited mind field had transformed into an infinite Mind Kingdom.
Any existence daring to invade the kingdom would have its power reduced by 99%.
At the same time, anyone within the Kingdom of God would experience a 900,990,000-fold increase in strength.
Note: This power is not absolute. This rule can be bypassed within the realm of the Multiversal Union.
[Divine Flame – Molten Star Core (evolution) — advanced]
[Heart of the World – Silver City (advanced)]
The Divine Power Star Core had now evolved into the World Core, existing within both aspects of the Mind Kingdom.
It could absorb faith, convert it into divine power, and continuously strengthen itself.
Note: Any believer could be transformed into an Angel.
Deep within Russell's eyes, countless streams of faith pierced through time and space, pouring into the Kingdom of God.
The Silver City buzzed, and the World Core roared with activity.
These long-scattered powers of faith had finally found their home. Now, refined through the core's transformation, they returned as an immense divine force, feeding directly back into the Kingdom of God.
The world expanded rapidly, becoming even more solid and complete.
Likewise, as a two-sided being, Russell's own power surged once more from this feedback.
A trace of satisfaction flashed in his eyes.
He had already ascended to the multiversal level, yet this ability still allowed him to grow stronger without end.
This evolved entry might have already surpassed the Red-tier level.
From this moment on, he was a true god—his faithful believers would be resurrected in the Kingdom of God after death, able to continuously provide him with power through their faith.
Some would even have the chance to become Angels to fight in his name.
Russell's expression remained calm. There was no trace of arrogance or loss of control despite his overwhelming power.
With a single thought, he appeared before the two Ancient Ones.
The Astral Ancient One's expression was complicated, but in the end, he simply sighed inwardly and offered a respectful salute.
"Congratulations on your ascension. From now on, you are truly free."
Time and space could no longer bind him. This was a true god—equal to Eternity itself.
The Ancient One of the Sacred Timeline looked upon him with even deeper reverence. She knew that the secret techniques she had once borrowed came from an existence of this very level. Perhaps she herself might one day follow the same path.
Russell smiled warmly, without any hint of multiversal pride.
"There's no need to be so formal," he said. "And don't worry—I will keep our previous agreement."
As he spoke, he pointed into the void.
In an instant, the timelines that had been on the verge of collapse—those not anchored by time—suddenly lit with emerald light.
Harnessing the power of the Time Stone, Russell created thousands of anchor points at once.
From now on, these timelines could grow freely, without a predetermined fate.
It was a solution far superior to Loki's lonely vigil at the end of time.
While Loki had prevented the collapse of timelines in the original fate, the cost had been steep: every timeline except the Sacred one was tethered to a single anchor being.
Once that being died, the timeline would fade within centuries—unless a new anchor was found in time.
Russell had now erased that limitation entirely.
The Astral Ancient One bowed in gratitude.
When she looked up again, she was no longer in the void—she stood within the Eternal Temple. Her mission was complete.
The Ancient One of the Sacred Timeline also returned to her own point in time.
In the void…
As the two Ancient Ones vanished, a man formed entirely of galaxies appeared.
Russell was not surprised. He offered a friendly smile.
"First time meeting, hello… Eternity."
Eternity gazed at him with deep, overlapping voices.
"This is not the first time. I saw you arrive from beyond… carried on golden lightning."
Russell fell silent.
Though he had suspected as much, hearing it confirmed still stirred complex feelings within him.
From the golden gate of the moon god Khonshu, he had not bartered away his spiritual essence—instead, a massive portion of essence left over from a failed attempt had flowed into him willingly.
Then the World Tree had inexplicably approached, offering him its gift.
And finally, it was Cagliostro's ultimate authority over "eternal past" that had allowed him to complete the final reversal.
He was not a fool.
The first two might have been called luck, but with the third, there was no denying the truth—coincidence had been an illusion.
At this moment, Russell felt a strong certainty:
Perhaps… he had not landed in the original timeline immediately after his first journey through time.
