Chapter 20 - ch-20 pokemon capture day

The next day arrived with a buzz of excitement in the air. All the children, including Akg and his team, eagerly awaited the start of Pokémon Capture Day. Everyone gathered around as Dr. Oak stepped forward to give the instructions.

"Children, please quiet down," Dr. Oak said, his voice calm but commanding.

As the crowd settled, he continued, "Today, you'll be going into the forest to capture Pokémon using the Pokéballs we've provided. There's no need to worry—any potentially dangerous Pokémon have already been relocated. Only docile-natured Pokémon remain. Use your skills to capture them. You'll have five hours to catch as many as you can. At 5 PM sharp, return here and hand your Pokéballs to the staff. Points will be awarded based on the number and type of Pokémon caught. Now go—and best of luck to you all!"

With cheers and excitement, the children broke into their teams and headed into the forest. Akg turned to his teammates, a determined but warm expression on his face.

"Alright, let's go," he said. "Stay close to me so we don't get separated. Make sure to help one another out, okay?"

All three girls nodded obediently, their eyes sparkling with excitement. With that, the group set off into the forest.

Akg and his team walked deeper into the forest, the sounds of rustling leaves and distant Pokémon cries surrounding them. The sunlight filtered through the trees, casting a warm glow on the path ahead.

As they moved, they spotted a group of Buneary hopping around a clearing. Serena's eyes lit up with excitement. "They're so cute!" she whispered.

"Go ahead, Serena," Akg encouraged with a smile. "Try to catch one."

Serena nodded, took a deep breath, and gently tossed a Pokéball. With Akg guiding her, the ball hit a Buneary and shook a few times before clicking shut. Serena gasped in delight.

"I did it!" she said, turning toward the team.

"Nice job!" Korrina cheered, giving her a playful fist bump.

As they continued, Chloe spotted a small group of Oddish under a bush. With Akg's help, she carefully approached and captured one too. Korrina, on the other hand, was drawn to a fast-moving Pidgey darting between trees. With her confident energy and sharp timing, she managed to throw her Pokéball just right.

"Bullseye," she grinned, watching the ball lock.

Akg also caught a couple of Pokémon, but more than catching, he enjoyed watching his teammates grow more confident with every step. They laughed, helped each other aim, and shared tips as they explored together. Time passed quickly, and by the time the sun began to lower, they had captured several Pokémon as a team.

With smiles on their faces and Pokéballs in their bags, they turned back toward the camp, the bond between them stronger than ever.
