Just as Aria dropped her phone, her brother Maxson came in. It took her as a surprise when he came in without knocking.

"Couldn't you just marry her and forget about the past. Joan is cool, friendly and nice. I'm sure she wouldn't have hurt you in anyway if not because of her grandfather. Think about it, what if you were in her shoes, wouldn't you have done the same?".
She asked, trying to reason with him. To her, Joan was a sweet loving girl, who prioritize family before outsiders.
"If you marry such a woman like her, she would always be there for her family. Tell me what type of girl in this era would put their family as number one". Her words were ringing loud in Maxson's ear, he knew everything she was saying were true.
"Thanks a lot dear, I really do understand you. It just that, I don't think she has any feelings for me, she would have just abort the pregnancy if not that she's trying to conspire against me". He said his mind, so negative.
"Why would you think such? If Joan doesn't like you, she would have aborted the baby without you knowing. Big brother, please you don't have anywhere to push her to, than to accept her". She consoled him.
"Alright then". He nodded his head and felt a little relaxed.

Evening.....
"Tell me if you are ready to follow my plan". The unknown man said to her.
"I'm always ready. Isn't this how you ordered me here?". She sounded cold to him.
"Hahahaha". He laughed maniacally.
"I sent someone to deliver it to you already". Make sure you use it according to the prescription on the letter attached to it". He instructed her while he smokes.
Cylene knew what he was doing, she watched her door, thinking the person would be here sooner. "When is he coming?". She asked curiously.
The man viewed her stupid, how would a woman conspire to destroy her children's life radically without any mercy. As they say, ignorance kills the fool.
Cylene stood up, waiting for the unknown person that was sent to deliver the parcel to her.
"Just receive it and meet her right away. Any delay can lead to failure". He ended the call since he doesn't have anymore thing to say.
Cylened felt relaxed, she dropped her phone on the bed. Just then, a knock was heard on her door.
With joy, she left to check who it was. She saw a young man dressed all black, looking like someone around the age of her son.
He handed her a package and left as soon as possible.
She also didn't say anything than to receive it and close her door.
She quickly called her daughter to share her the goodnews.
"I'll be coming back to City B tonight".

The morning breeze was cool and relaxing, Arthur moved round the committees sitted in the meeting room.
"I'm sure Clark has announced the relevance of the new project to you all". Mind you, he wasn't asking them rather stating.
"This new projects runs from now till next week. It must be done before next week or you leave the company". His words carries an authoritative badge.
"Sir, I'm so sorry, what if an important personal issue affect us and we couldn't work for sometime?". A young lady in her early twenties asked.
"Then, leave work for people who don't mind putting this company as their number 1 prioritization". That way too hard, she felt ashamed and bowed her head.
"Why not? I have been regarding this company as my number 1, who would never leave nor betray me". Another young woman with a full red lipstick smiled at Arthur.
He watched her as she made a different eye contact at him.
Arthur knew what she meant. "See me in my office after this meeting young lady". He said with a straight face, so he could fake his intention to the other people present there.
Clark smiled and shook his head, understanding his boss sole intentions.

After the meeting, Kylie walked into Arthur's office without alarming him. "Close the door before coming". He lifted up his head and licked his upper lip.
