Chapter 221 - The Coming of Katsuki Bakugo — Singularity Impact!

The Hero Contingent, trained to act as a group to take down the fools who would dare to infiltrate the Detention Center, became rag dolls as the shockwave carried them, throwing their bodies to the very edge of the battlefield.

Only Rikuya Saionji, the Dream Walker, survived this fate because he had already passed out, lying listlessly at the center of a massive crater.

The CLAP seemed to have woken him up, though.

Shaking his head to come over the baffling buzz in his ears, he stood up and dreamily walked over the slope, his eyes landing on the battlefield.

What he saw made his pupils widen, all drowsiness leaving him instantly.

Large chunks of earth were scattered circularly everywhere. It was as if the earth were a lake and someone had thrown a stone in it before freezing it entirely.

Deep crevices were snaking on the ground, reaching the massive Boundary Walls.

Rikuya's eyes traced the cracks back to their origin and found a huge, old man standing there.

Then, the old man disappeared.

And a gust of wind hit Rikuya squarely on the chest, sending him rolling back to where he had come from.

Alex didn't have much time.

American assholes would look away from almost everything, as long as none of the prisoners escaped.

And that wouldn't happen without the Spatial Barrier.

Even now, the subtle group at the Detention Center must be crying tears of joy because their teleportation Quirk was working again.

This was also one of the reasons that he had left that man in the Spatial Barrier Hall, locking it from the outside.

Those guys didn't seem like the people who would leave behind a friend.

So, even if the user of teleportation could use his Quirk, Alex still had a few moments to keep using his 10000% form.

Moments… that were running out just too fast.

The 18180 kg of mass created a storm as he blurred out of existence, reappearing behind the Near High End Nomu.

Alex's eyes let out a blue glow as he made a fist, the Nomu still looking at where he had been standing a moment ago.

Alex Style —

The Radiant of Gravity let out a breath, putting his back into it.

The muscles on his entire arm squirmed, giant cracks originating from his feet as he solidified his footing.

Then, frame by frame, his fist advanced, landing on Nomu's giant back.

— Singularity Punch!

The Nomu wasn't blasted away.

It didn't even register pain, perhaps.

From top to bottom, from left to right, the massive Nomu just… disintegrated.

A pillar of shockwave BOOMED in the direction Alex had punched, tore through everything, and broke the top half of the Boundary Wall before disappearing into the distance.

Then, Alex disappeared once again.

The next time he appeared, he was on top of Kurogiri, his hand already raised high, a tunnel of vacuum still trying to catch up to him.

Alex brought his hand down.

A crater, hundreds of meters in diameter, snapped into existence under his feet, swallowing Kurogiri.

Alex appeared at the edge of the crater like a wraith, frowning.

It wasn't him who was the cause behind the crater. He hadn't even punched. Then, who…

Alex's eyes landed beyond the crater.

There, standing brokenly, bleeding all over, and with a burned face, was Shigaraki.

The Villain's eyes looked hollow. His nails had come apart. One of the ribs must have broken at an odd angle because now it was protruding out from his sides.

Shigaraki was a walking dead man.

"Keep… your hands… off…" Tomura Shigaraki stuttered, a darkness taking shape in his surroundings. "Or I will kill you!"

Alex's eyes shone bluer than ever.

Suddenly, for just a moment, he forgot about everyone, his gaze only reflecting Shigaraki's face.

This man, Alex concluded, must die… right here and now.

Bringing down his weight back to 100%, Alex projected it out, increasing gravity again.

This time, Shigaraki didn't even flinch.

"Oi, kid!" Alex shouted, grinning a little, and stepping toward Shigaraki. "Go take care of the other one!!"

Bakugo blasted away the layer of earth under which he had been buried and heard the old man's words.

For a moment, he considered going after Shigaraki anyway.

Then, his eyes landed on the "other one" and he remembered who had come here with Shigaraki.

It was Stain.

A chuckle escaped Bakugo's mouth involuntarily.

Feeling the weight again, he shot forward toward Stain as the Villain edged toward a black, fleshy mass.

Stain suddenly paused and eyed the kid flying toward him, creating explosions.

He eyed the piece of Near High End Nomu's head that had survived and lifted his left hand toward the kid. His arm above the elbow bulged before the mouth on his palm let out a sonic scream once again.

Gritting his teeth and feeling every inch of his body grinding on his bones, Bakugo twisted his legs and his left hand.

With an explosion, he spun midair and dodged the attack that went past him, ripping the earth.

Stain frowned.

He faced both his hands toward the kid, then.

Booms after booms rang out as Stain fired sonic blasts at him, Bakugo dodging all of them by the width of a hair.

"Haha…" Bakugo laughed, the corners of his eyes splitting apart, blood foaming in his mouth again. "Hahaha…"

His heart was booming.

It felt like his entire body was filled with explosions.

With every next blast, it seemed he would lose his legs and hands.

Yet…

Deku, you nerd! Bakugo grinned, eying Stain's muscle tendrils lashing out at him. Half-half Bastard!! … And you Birdshit!!! NONE OF YOU WILL BE LEAVING ME BEHIND!!!

Stain's eyes glowed redder than ever, hisses and whispers jolting his mind.

With a great sense of urgency, hundreds of muscle tendrils shot out of him, each holding a mouth at its end.

Then, together, the fleshy tentacles bulged and… screamed.

Suddenly, the gravity returned to normal… and all the muscle tendrils, who were actively trying to hold their positions, shook, their sonic attack merely grazing the target.

Howitzer —

Crossing his arms, Bakugo became a fiery disc of destruction, obliterating all the muscle tendrils as he reached Stain, whose face had gained a mighty, stunned expression.

— Singularity —

The Radiant of Explosions' feet landed on Stain's shoulders. "You should be glad…" he said, his red eyes glowing blue. "… that you didn't meet me first…"

And the explosion burned through Stain's body, exploding his arms to smithereens.

— Impact!

Booooooooooom!
