Liebe said, "I will finish this thing right here and now! Dark Magic: Vesta Abyssal Grand Strike! Rampage!"
Licht said, "No!" As M and Licht moved away.
After the attack, Liebe collapsed. Seeing the devastation behind them, Licht said, "That was one hell of an attack."
M said, "That destroyed more than 17 km."
Liebe said, "I'm dry."
Licht said, "After what you just did, I would be surprised if you weren't."
Alysa said, "Is it over?"
Licht said, "Yeah, seems like it."
Liebe said, "I can't move. My body is stiff."
As everyone relaxed, in an instant, the monster was behind Liebe. And even if Liebe tried to dodge, he couldn't move. Seeing the attack from behind, Liebe couldn't help but think, Is this how it ends?
As Lilith blocked the attack, Licht said, "Get up! This isn't over yet! We have to stand!"
M said, "Yeah, yeah, I was just checking the ground."
Liebe said, "I just missed Mother Earth a little."
As they stood up, Astreous and Klice exited the carriage.
Astreous said, "Time Magic: Distortion Slash!" As a single attack managed to cut it.
Liebe said, "He cut it? But how?"
As he resumed the fight, amongst the fight, Liebe could see it: this monster wasn't that strong; it was just adapting and changing its plan based on our responses. No wonder it targeted me just after pulling itself together. It saw me as its greatest threat. If I can just—
And as they planned to attack together, the monster divided into three equally strong versions.
Licht said, "Great. Just one bastard was hard enough."
Klice said, "Looks like you still haven't lost the soul in your blade."
Astreous said, "I can say the same for you, Your Majesty."
Licht said, "Even with two members of the 25 Princes of Hell, we are at a disadvantage."
Liebe said, "Chickening out now, are we?"
Licht said, "I'm just observing the situation with a clear head."
Liebe said, "Now that's what I like to see."
As they engaged the enemy, yet with Afterglow and Rampage, whatever they cut off, it just turned into smaller subunits. Lilith and Astreous were able to hold their own, yet Liebe, M, and Licht were getting backed off.
Klice said, "Looks like our party is underhanded, since Lilith can't use her full power with the rest of us at such close quarters, and you can't give it your all since your magic requires time."
Astreous said, "Don't be so sure, Your Majesty. Now! Time Magic: Distortion!" Lilith said, "Void Magic: Abyssal Gate!" Liebe said, "Dark Magic: Darkest Domain!" Licht said, "Light Magic: Piercing Light!" M said, "Holy Light Magic: Engulfing Light!"
As with that attack, the enemy was cut in half again.
Liebe said, "Great, it's dividing again."
As one of the halves ran away, M said, "Looks like it's finally working."
Liebe said, "No, it isn't."
As it began to run towards the carriage, Liebe said, "Licht, handle it!"
As he rushed towards it, and just as it opened the door and attacked Ciel and Lucielle with the infants Astrea and Klaus, Liebe said, "I won't let you!"
As the attack pierced right through Liebe, there was a 4 mm hole in his stomach.
Lilith screamed, "Liebe!"
Lucielle said, "Liebe!"
Liebe said, "Protect the children! I will live!"
As Astrea began to cry, Lucielle, with tears flowing down her eyes, held him close. "There, there, Astrea. Please don't cry," she whispered, her voice trembling but gentle. "I'm sorry I can't be with you for much longer, but I promise you will live in a time where you will be safe, far from here. You don't have to know about me. I'm sure the God of Darkness will protect you, may he take us away from your memories along with your sorrows , live on live a life full of joy . So please don't cry. If you cry now, I won't be able to say goodbye." She hugged the infant tightly, pouring a lifetime of love into a single moment.
Beside her, Ciel cradled Klaus. "Klaus, my beautiful baby boy," she said, her voice thick with emotion. "This era doesn't deserve you. Live on in the future under the light of Baldr. I'm sure you will live a healthy life." She kissed his forehead, a single tear falling onto his blanket. "I'm not afraid of death... but not being able to see you again... it frightens me."
As despite being pierced, he moved forward and said, "I won't let you harm anyone here! Dark Magic: Abyssal Dark Eternal Roar!"
And at point-blank, he was able to defeat the monster for good—at least one of them.
Astreous said, "Grant me 15 seconds, and I will end this in a single spell."
Lilith said, "Void Magic: Devastation!" As she tried to kill the monster, yet it kept regenerating.
Liebe said, "Mother, please!"
And Licht said, "We have to defend Astreous, no matter what!"
As Ciel and Lucielle protected the infants and left the carriage, in this battle, Ciel and Lucielle had no choice but to serve as human shields to protect Astrea and Klaus. Yet even as everyone was covered in blood, Astreous said, "Five seconds more."
Even Astreous was bathed in blood.
Alysa said, "We are getting swarmed here!"
Fate said, "We can't hold on much longer."
Isurugi said, "There is not much chance of survival. But, Fleet Admiral, thank you."
Liebe screamed, "Shut up! God damn, shut up and survive this! Then say whatever the hell you want to say!"
As Ciel couldn't move and fell to the ground in tears, as she had failed to save Klaus, and then even Lucielle fell.
Liebe screamed, "Please, ma'am, survive! Don't die!"
Astreous said, "Time Magic: Fǫrn Rǫk!"
As the ground was covered in a giant magic circle, Liebe said, "We have won now. Finally."
As Liebe, Licht, M, Fate, Alysa, Elizabeth, and Isurugi were vanished away.
