Chapter 12 - Chapter 12: The Break-In

14 October 2025 – Devil's Side

The night wore silence like a shroud.

Inside the shadows of Devil Drive, something dangerous was brewing — not a deal, not a heist, but vengeance.

Bunnyman stood atop a neighboring rooftop, watching the dealership from behind his mask. Tape Girl crouched beside him, adjusting her tape launcher with smooth, confident hands.

"You're quiet," she said, licking her lips. "Getting cold feet?"

"No," he replied. "Just… focused."

She leaned closer. "You sure it's not fear? Skull Mask nearly broke you in half last time."

Bunnyman didn't answer. He simply checked his gloves, then nodded toward the street below.

"Let's do this."

1:13 AM – Devil Drive, Rear Entrance

The back of the dealership was quiet, just like they'd planned. One lone camera rotated above the steel door.

Whip.

Tape Girl fired a roll of black tape, wrapping it clean around the camera lens. "Blind spot achieved."

She skipped toward the keypad, humming softly. "And now… the magic touch."

She unrolled a thin strip of metallic tape, pressing it onto the keypad. Seconds later, the lock sparked — and clicked open.

"Easy."

"Stay close," Bunnyman muttered as they slipped inside.

Inside Devil Drive

The place was sterile, cold, and far too polished for a legitimate business.

Rows of stolen cars stood glistening in the dark, their fake documents tucked neatly in dashboard folders. Tape Girl moved like a dancer between them, planting small devices under selected vehicles.

Bunnyman headed for the inner office — the place where Skull Mask's true records were kept. He found the vault door, just as the blueprints promised.

Whirrr. The lock opened. Inside: stacks of falsified titles, fake VIN databases, and transaction records.

He pulled out his phone, capturing photo after photo.

"This is it," he whispered. "This is the proof."

Tape Girl's voice buzzed in his earpiece. "I've planted signal beacons on five cars. The stolen plates will be flagged once the report's uploaded."

"Good," Bunnyman said. "Get to the roof. I'll meet you—"

The lights flickered.

Footsteps echoed.

And then…

That voice.

"Quite the curious rabbit," Skull Mask said, stepping out from the shadows. "But curiosity has a price."

Bunnyman spun, heart thudding. "You—"

Skull Mask wore the same sharp suit. Same cold, unreadable eyes. Only this time, he had no goons.

Just him.

And his guns.

"This wasn't part of the plan," Tape Girl hissed in the comms.

"It never is," Bunnyman said, cracking his knuckles.

Skull Mask raised his pistols. "Round two?"

Bunnyman narrowed his eyes. "Round two."

The first shot rang out.
