As the security guard threw Jada out of the compound, she grunted, clenched her fists with fury, and cursed Marcus.
After wandering around for a while, she approached the gate and peered through a hole.
"Great. No one is watching," she muttered to herself and took out her phone.
"Hello, Lisa. I hope you captured everything. Don't tell me you missed anything."
"Not at all. I would be a fool to do that," a feminine voice responded from the other end of the call.
"Great! I'll be there in a jiffy," Jada commented and ended the call, feeling accomplished. She then left to hail a cab.
Meanwhile, at Nina's apartment, a sleek blue car was parked in front of the building.
"I'm amazed that you came just because of what I told you on the phone," Nina said with a smile, her gaze fixed on him.
"Of course. I should. How could you abruptly end a business negotiation we were working on and expect me to stay home and relax?" Philip replied with concern.
