The purple glow in Leyton's eyes faded, and he frowned slightly. In the Eyes of Mystery Prying's vision, the coral palace transformed into a dazzling brilliance, so bright it was almost blinding.
He turned to look at Sasrir, whose expression remained unchanged, and deliberated, "This palace itself seems to be a special Mystical Item?"
Sasrir gently nodded after surveying his surroundings. "These corals are products of mutation, having absorbed some characteristics. When they gather together, some of their inherent qualities are magnified, making them appear even more mystical."
As he spoke, layers of faint shadows surged from his feet, rippling outwards like water.
Ding~
The flowing shadows collided with the surrounding corals, emitting sounds with a peculiar rhythm, like an undulating chorus, forming a continuous melody.
Leyton had a bad premonition. He slightly raised his hand, and specks of starlight appeared around him, enveloping him, attempting to block out these sounds.
But the effect was surprisingly poor; he even felt that the sounds echoing in his ears showed no signs of diminishing.
"When we are inside this coral palace, even if we completely isolate our spirituality, it is very difficult to avoid these sounds. This is 'communication' on the spiritual level."
"Once we are inside this palace, this 'communication' has already formed."
Sasrir's voice remained calm, carrying a sense of immersion that soothed the mind and body. Leyton felt that his dazed and lost state, caused by the sounds echoing within the palace, had been somewhat alleviated.
After a slight pause, Leyton extended his left hand forward, making a grasping motion.
A swan was pulled out of the void by him. The swan still held a nettle in its mouth. It flapped its wings, broke free from Leyton's hand, and dropped the nettle into the air.
The nettle fell to the ground, and upon contact with the blue and silver corals, it quickly took root and merged into them.
Inside the coral palace, the echoing dinging sounds abruptly vanished, as if a television had been muted.
The palace walls, floor, and decorations all distorted and trembled for a moment. These corals seemed very unaccustomed to this voiceless state.
Where the shadows manipulated by Sasrir flowed, dark and illusory entities separated from within the corals.
They seemed to be a combination of the corals' inner Fallen thoughts and shadows, and after forming, they quickly disintegrated, dissolving into a deep black, and causing the surrounding corals to also become stained with a layer of viscous blackness.
Is this coral palace alive? Or is Sasrir's "Degeneration" not only effective on living beings, but also on inanimate objects? A trace of doubt flashed through Leyton's mind. He looked at the subsequent changes in the coral palace with great curiosity.
Those corals stained with a layer of viscous black either instantly corroded and broke, or became "Fallen" and attacked their surrounding counterparts.
The entire coral palace began to shake violently, as if it could collapse at any moment.
Hiss! Hiss!
The coral clusters forming the palace began to scatter in layers, seemingly intending to forcibly dismantle the palace and let the deep-sea water engulf everything inside.
A somewhat transparent and ethereal figure appeared beside Sasrir. Her ears were slightly pointed, with distinct elven features, and her brown eyes gazed blankly at the scene before her.
The next moment, she slightly parted her lips and let out a melodious sound, with a peculiar rhythm that naturally made one's heart feel light and joyful.
She seemed to be communicating with the corals that made up this palace. Purple halos swirled in Leyton's eyes as he earnestly observed the changes around him.
The corals, which had been scattering in layers, suddenly stopped their movement and then began to slowly reassemble.
"Cohinem has already transferred her remaining consciousness from here."
Sasrir's voice rang out calmly. He seemed unsurprised by this.
Whoosh~
Inside the palace, where there should have been no wind, a rustling sound appeared.
As time passed, this sound grew stronger, gradually evolving into a terrifying sonic boom, intertwined with the wailing of the wind domain.
Leyton's body instantly became transparent, transforming into a statue composed of countless Star lights.
Under the violent impact and vibration, the statue instantly shattered, and brilliant starlight instantly permeated the entire palace hall, rising and falling in the gradually forming storm.
Sasrir's body also suddenly dematerialized, turning into a surging shadow that rapidly expanded, enveloping the entire coral palace.
The twinkling Star lights floating within the palace quickly drilled into the Spirit World, beginning to re-converge, revealing Leyton's figure.
He moved slightly away from the Spirit World area corresponding to the coral palace. Purple halos swirled in his eyes as his gaze easily penetrated the Spirit World, seeing the scene in the deep sea.
The coral palace seemed to come alive, its surface becoming smooth and sticky, like the skin of a marine creature. Some corals continuously gathered, spreading outwards, growing into thick tentacles, and feathers of bird-like creatures emerged from the gaps.
Flashes of electricity constantly surged through this sea area. The silver light momentarily dispelled most of the Darkness, and even the thick shadows covering the coral palace became much more transparent.
Amidst the sizzling sounds of the silver electric snakes darting about, there was a faint singing voice, a voice with a peculiar rhythm, as if it could soothe all restless things.
The frequency of the constantly darting electric snakes decreased, and even the mutation speed of the coral palace slowed down.
The surrounding seawater began to surge slowly, circulating around the coral palace, gradually increasing in speed, eventually forming a vortex that firmly held it captive.
The shadow covering the coral palace rapidly writhed, its color becoming darker and darker.
It eventually transformed into a pitch-black, viscous "ocean" filled with the aura of the Fallen.
The thick tentacles and bird feathers mutated from the coral palace were all stained with a layer of viscous black liquid, gradually dissolving.
The singing echoing in the surrounding sea area grew louder; it was a melodious, high-pitched female voice.
The melody she hummed seemed capable of enchanting even the cold seawater and the mud at the bottom of the sea, making these inanimate objects move according to her will.
As the singing grew louder, the surrounding "ocean" formed by shadows and filled with the aura of the Fallen quickly dissipated.
Sasrir, shrouded in a layer of substantial shadow, stood silently in the seawater, oblivious to the rapidly flowing water around him and the terrifying pressure of the deep sea.
As the shadows receded, the enveloped coral palace finally revealed its original appearance:
Vibrantly colored corals layered upon layer, arranged with great depth, gently swaying rhythmically with the flow of the seawater, like a living thing breathing.
As time passed, scattered azure light points Analysis out from the corals forming the palace. They seemed attracted, converging towards the same place.
Following these extracted light points, Leyton saw the beautiful figure singing. Her figure was somewhat ethereal and fleeting, yet it blended perfectly and naturally with the surrounding environment, as if it were meant to be.
Cohinem actually integrated that Calamity characteristic into the entire coral palace, no wonder I couldn't see anything when I used the Eyes of Mystery Prying just now. As he pondered, Leyton's gaze looked into the distance.
Cohinem's consciousness, having merged with this Calamity characteristic, should be considered the main body, right? I wonder what will happen to the parts of her consciousness that are scattered outside. Will they be assimilated by this dominant part of consciousness? Or will they become a completely independent individual?
In less than a minute, all the light points extracted from the coral palace had merged into Cohinem's consciousness.
Although her Spirit Body was still illusory, it was no longer as fleeting as before, only her eyes remained in a dazed and blank state.
Her hair, which had been tied into a high bun, was loosely draped, swaying freely with the seawater, with occasional flashes of silver electricity.
The surrounding seawater seemed to be an extension of her dress, appearing extremely harmonious around her.
Looking at Cohinem, who had absorbed the Calamity characteristic, Leyton felt an inexplicable tightening in his heart, as if something bad was about to happen.
As soon as his premonition surfaced, he noticed that Cohinem's eyes, who was being pastured, cleared for a moment, and the aura of a Storm Pathway angel was unreservedly released.
The surrounding seawater instantly became turbid, and a majestic, angry gaze cast down from an infinitely high place.
"...Leodero."
Sasrir's low voice sounded in Leyton's ear.
Leyton turned his head to look. Sasrir had entered the Spirit World at some point and was now beside him.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Violent thunder roared through the seabed, and thick silver lightning bolts, like water buckets, descended from the sky, carrying a strong, almost tangible aura of tyrannical destruction into the sea, enveloping the entire area where the coral palace was located.
The momentum is grand, but it probably won't cause any damage. Deep in the Spirit World, Leyton muttered to himself silently.
He silently watched beyond the Spirit World, which was isolated by the pitch-black shadows. Silver lightning enveloped everything, submerging all, destroying all!
Rorsted Archipelago, "City of Generosity" Bayam.
Jogori, the diocesan bishop stationed at the Cathedral of Waves, looked out at the sea with a solemn expression:
"Is that... my Lord's aura?"
"Who has attracted divine punishment?"
