"Hmm, could it be a pack of wild dogs? This area can be quite dangerous, after all," came a quiet voice from behind him. It was the man from before.
"You've finished your business here, haven't you? Please, be on your way."
There was no good reason to keep staying on private property with the knights. Jihl could feel the man's cold stare on his back as he took hold of his horse's reins.
"Hurry up and find out who owns this tower—immediately."
Jihl gave the order to one of the knights, and the knight immediately rode off toward the royal capital. But figuring out who owns this place would probably be difficult. It was frustrating, especially knowing that the Abergavenny family was involved behind the scenes.
Jihl looked in the direction the dogs had gone and then charged into the forest with the remaining knights.
