Seraphina's POV
The heavy tomb doors opened as Kira forced them to open with all her strength. I almost fell while holding Lyric, my arms were still shaking from the visions that I had.
"It won't be you, I won't let them decide who you will become." I said it out loud.
But even as I spoke, the ancient words echoed in my chest: "Which one he becomes depends on you."
"Then stop living in their world. Make your own, or else they will force you into theirs, and force Lyric along with you." Kira touched my shoulder, her face was shadowed but still strong.
"Make my own world?" I looked at her, my pulse was sounding loud.
"Yes," she said firmly.
"Elira crowns herself High Luna, Caelum was fighting with thrones and feelings, Darius sells his soul to shadows, and you have been trying to survive inside their games. Stop surviving, Sera, start ruling." She leaned closer, her eyes were burning into mine.
Her words hit me like lightning.
