Seraphina's POV
"Mother… he's here."
Lyric's terrified voice sounded through my skull again like a blade cutting through my bone. My arms were holding tight around him, my body was shaking with an instinct that was equal parts of anger and nightmare at the same time.
But before I could even answer him this time around and before I could turn to Caelum or Kira, the heavy doors of the council hall was pushed open.
The sound was coming in through the chamber like thunder. A procession of wolves who were old Alphas, their robes were filled with tradition and arrogance, they all walked inside, their faces were weak from the sounds of the Hollow Wolf's howl. Their leader, a man with silver hair and the eyes which were sharp as knives and looking straight at Lyric.
"This child must be surrendered to the council immediately." He said immediately.
