After we finally agreed on what to do, we found out that building the fortress is like building a shield over us so that the enemy will not come near us.
"Higher! No, not like that, you should know that if the moonstones aren't aligned with the eastern rise, the wards will collapse before the next eclipse."
Kira's voice rang out very sharp sounded through the area as workers who are wolves, rogues, exiles, and widows moved volcanic rock on the ancient ground. They were sweatung, dirt was in their face and it was filled with great determination.
The sound of hammers hitting stone sounded in the distance, going with the low sound of the sea.
I stood in the middle of it all, Lyric rested on my chest, his tiny silver eyes were looking at every of their moves. His eyes were far too old for his weeks in life, monitoring each piece of moonstone as if he already knew what it was meant for.
