Seraphina's POV
"Mother!" Lyric's scream sounded through the chamber like a blade.
His little body paused briefly in my arms, his glowing eyes were rolling back until only silver shone.
"Lyric! Stay with me, baby please!" I shook him, terror came out of my throat.
"What's happening to him?" Caelum quickly rushed forward, kneeling beside us, his hands were shaking as he tried to balance his son's small limbs.
"It's Cairos, the other child, their bond is pulling tight." Zevryn's face was weak and serious.
"Fire… screams… they are burning!" Lyric let out a choked cry, his tiny hands were holding tight at my chest as if trying to tear away the pain inside him.
"Burning? Where?" My blood turned to ice.
"The blood wolves rise, a village falls, and Cairos commands them." His glowing eyes opened immediately, it was not focused, and the voice that was coming out from his lips was not his own but something deeper and older.
