Chapter 100 - Chapter 100: A Date with Little Yukino (Part 2)

After leaving the aquarium, Su Yu took Yukinoshita Yukino to an art supplies store.

"Even during a date, you can't forget about work?" Yukino glanced at Su Yu.

"We'll be heading to the library next, and we might be there for a while," Su Yu said as he picked out the necessary supplies.

Yukino paused for a moment.

Then, she realized what Su Yu was planning to do.

A Quiet Afternoon at the Library

Inside the peaceful library, Su Yu and Yukino sat across from each other.

Su Yu was deeply focused on his drawing, while Yukino quietly immersed herself in her book.

His dates with Yui were more conventional, but with Yukino, things were different.

Zoos and amusement parks, with their crowds, weren't her kind of places.

So instead, they had visited the aquarium, and now they were in the tranquil library.

Su Yu's drawing was not of something random—he was illustrating their time at the aquarium.

But he wasn't merely replicating reality. Instead, he blended realism with imagination.

His first drawing was of a girl in the deep sea.

Yukino appeared underwater, surrounded by a school of fish. Her delicate hands passed through the swimming fish, and on her face was a pure, gentle smile.

It was a scene they had witnessed in the aquarium, but Su Yu had artistically enhanced it.

He worked quickly, and the drawing turned out to be a masterpiece.

When he finished, he looked up at the Yukinoshita family's second daughter sitting across from him.

"This is a one-of-a-kind drawing—a gift from me to commemorate our date," Su Yu said.

"What do you want in return?" Yukino's voice was gentle, and her lips curved into a small smile.

"I want a kiss."

"Something else."

"Then, when we sleep, let me hold you."

"Can't you think of something more normal?"

"Little Yukino is just too cute. Whenever I'm with you, I can't help but think of these things."

"...You're hopeless. I'll think of an appropriate gift myself," Yukino sighed, looking a little exasperated.

Su Yu chuckled and resumed drawing.

This time, Yukino quietly watched him.

And when he completed the second drawing, her cheeks turned slightly red.

Because in this one, he had drawn them kissing.

"Alright, I'll stop here." Su Yu handed both drawings to Yukino and packed up his art supplies.

"You really want to kiss me that badly?" Yukino murmured.

"Not just a kiss. I want even more," Su Yu said with a teasing yet meaningful smile.

"...After the 'Madoka Project' is completed, and if I can earn my mother's approval, I... I'll agree," Yukino whispered before turning her head away.

Su Yu froze for a second.

Then, a joyful smile spread across his face as he gently took Yukino's hand and placed a soft kiss on the back of it.

"I'll remember your words. When the time comes, you're not allowed to go back on your promise."

The Tennis Match: Challenging Yukino

After leaving the library, Su Yu took Yukino to an unexpected place.

A tennis court.

This particular tennis facility was quite professional—many athletes trained here.

They purchased tennis outfits and rackets and rented a court for two hours.

After changing into their sportswear, they stepped onto the court.

The surrounding courts were empty, making the place feel quiet and exclusive.

"Su Yu-kun, even though you played against Hachiman's friend, Totsuka Saika, you're no match for me," Yukino said with a confident smile.

"I never intended to defeat you today. I just want to learn some techniques from you, so that next time I play against Totsuka, I can help improve his skills a little," Su Yu admitted.

He knew very well that with his current level, he had no chance of winning against Yukino.

"I see. Alright, then. I'll give it my all," Yukino smiled playfully.

"Bring it on, Little Yukino. Show me your full power. One day, I will defeat you," Su Yu declared with an over-the-top, anime-like confidence.

Yukino rolled her eyes at him before serving the first ball.

And then, the intense match began.

It was only after the game started that Su Yu realized just how strong Yukino really was.

To put it in perspective:

If Totsuka Saika's tennis skill level was a 1, then Yukinoshita Yukino's was a 5.

If playing against Totsuka was a minor challenge, then playing against Yukino felt like facing five of him at once.

Su Yu had to run constantly just to keep up with her movements.

Yukino showed no mercy—she had already won several matches in a row.

Her skill level was so high that if an ordinary player faced her, they would have lost all hope.

But Su Yu had one advantage—his superior physical endurance.

And he used that to observe and absorb Yukino's techniques.

If he could match her stamina, it would only be a matter of time before he could surpass her.

If someone like Miura Yumiko were playing instead, she might not start out as strong as Yukino, but the moment Yukino's stamina ran out, Yumiko would easily claim victory.

Because Yukino's biggest weakness was her poor physical endurance.

That said, considering her stamina limitations, the fact that she was this powerful showed just how hard she had trained.

After thirty minutes, Su Yu noticed a shift in her movements.

Her speed was slowing down.

A clear sign of fatigue.

Su Yu took this opportunity to counterattack, using the techniques he had learned from her just moments ago.

Yukino was visibly surprised.

Then, she remembered something—Su Yu's incredible memory.

From the moment he had mastered piano playing in a short time, she should have known.

His learning ability was truly terrifying.

"...Could supernatural abilities actually exist in this world?" Yukino muttered under her breath.

After managing to win a few rounds, Su Yu was starting to feel exhausted as well.

A Simple but Delicious Lunch

After an hour of tennis and another hour spent resting and changing clothes, the two of them were starving.

Yukino wasn't picky about food, and as they passed by a ramen shop, she suddenly stopped.

"Let's have lunch here."

"This place looks like it's been around for a long time," Su Yu observed.

Without hesitation, he stepped inside.

The exterior of the shop looked a little run-down, but the tables and chairs inside were immaculately clean.

"Please, have a seat," the ramen chef at the counter greeted them.

Su Yu and Yukino sat at the counter.

"Boss, I'll have the most delicious ramen you can make," Su Yu said, skipping the menu entirely.

"Alright, please wait a moment," the chef smiled.

The aroma of the broth filled the air, making Yukino even hungrier.

Meanwhile, Su Yu observed the chef's technique, secretly memorizing the steps for making a good ramen broth.

In less than ten minutes, two steaming bowls of ramen were placed in front of them.

Su Yu glanced at Yukino.

Even while eating, the graceful second daughter of the Yukinoshita family maintained her elegant demeanor.

Looks like the anime had exaggerated things a bit.

That aside, the ramen was delicious.

The broth was rich, the noodles were perfectly firm, and the flavors were layered and satisfying.

Without a word, they both finished their bowls to the last drop.

When paying, Su Yu casually asked the chef about his secret to making great broth.

The chef generously shared his method—he used dried vegetables instead of fresh ones, enhancing the broth's natural umami when combined with a carefully simmered stock.

Su Yu mentally took notes, then thanked the chef before leaving.
