CHAPTER 22
KEITH'S POV
"You've got nerves", she spoke as she approached me slowly, her hips swaying without her notice.
"I could just call the cops", she kept talking but I wasn't listening. I got lost in her beauty. She really knows how to make a man fall for her, without her knowing.
"Are you even listening?", she stopped right in front of me.
"I stopped listening when I noticed you were wearing a revealing nightgown". It was lacey but it covered her cleavage and thankfully she wore panty-shorts.
AUTHOR'S NOTE: In case you don't know what panty-shorts are, they're a kind of shorts that are like panties, hence, the name I called it cos I don't know what it's actually called. Hehe.
She looked at what she wore and smirked.
"I thought you said you liked when I wore these kind of clothes?", she's using my words against me.
" I know I did, how did you know I was coming"
" My instincts"
" Right"
" What are you doing here anyways?"
" I couldn't sleep so....."
" You wanna sleepover"
" Yeah"
" Ok, I'm going to bed now", she went on the bed and I followed suit.
" What do you think you're doing?", she asked when I cuddled her.
" Hugging my teddy bear"
" So I'm your teddy bear?"
" Yeah", I replied and we fell into a deep silence.
Then, she turned to face me and asked
" What'd you and your dad talk about?"
" Some unimportant stuff", I wouldn't want to bother her with all the shitty stuff my dad keeps talking about.
" How about your mom? I haven't seen her in a long time"
" I'm not sure you've even seen her"
" Why'd you say that?"
" The lady you see at my house once a week is actually my housekeeper. I told my mom that I don't want her coming over because she might tell my dad some things I wouldn't want him to know"
" Oh"
" Yeah"
" Well, Matt said he's gonna host a pool party, just us. Will you be available?"
" I'll see what I can do"
" Ok, good night "
" Just like that?"
" Huh?"
" No good night kiss?", I teased.
" Ok", she brought her lips closer to mine.
I was already waiting for the kiss when she brushed her lips on mine, and turned her face to the other side.
She was teasing me.??!!!!!
I don't mind...
I hugged her tightly before drifting off.

MONDAY
" Keith.....?", I heard her voice calling to me.
"Let me go...", she said.
"Mmmm.....", I stirred but I held her even tighter. Her waist was really slim.
"C'mon, let go.... We have to go to school", she called out again.
"I don't care"
"If I kiss you, would you let go?"
" Yes"
" Ok", she pecked my lips and pulled back.
" Now, let me go", she pouted.
" More, please"
" C'mon "
" Ok, but you owe me more"
" I'm not sure if I do", she said and I let go.
" Now, go home, shower and then bring me some cookies", she dragged me out of the bed.
"Ok, butterfly, see you in 30".
" You don't have to rush, take your time", she walked me over to her window.
" In that case, I'll see you in 20 minutes", I smirked.

" Would you hurry up?", I yelled, calling out to Chloe.
I actually kept to my words and arrived exactly 20 minutes later. She's been inside doing God knows what and we're getting late.
" I'm done", she came out wearing skinny jeans and a tank top.
" What took you so long?", I groaned.
" I had to take care of somethings. And don't you dare complain, cos it's your fault", she said and got into the car.
She's trying to act angry and I find it quite amusing.
" How's it my fault?", I got into the car and started the engine.
" If you hadn't held me down, we would have been in school already"
" You're soooooo cute"
" That's not the point!!!!!"
" Ok, I'm sorry and I won't do it next time", I kept my eyes on the road.
" I'm not sure there's gonna be a next time", she said with a long face.
" Why?"
" Nevermind", she brushed it off and I didn't push it further.
I could easily tell something was bothering her. I really want to ask her but she's gonna tell me when she's ready.
A few minutes later, we arrived in school and met the same kind of crowd we saw last time.
"What is it now?", I heard Chloe mutter.
We got down from the car and Hailey approached us.
"What do you want Hailey?", Chloe asked.
"I just wanted you tell you that, we all know what you've been doing"
"And what might that be?"
"You're two-timing"
"Excuse me?"
"You heard me. And I have proof", she brought out her phone and showed us a picture of Chloe and Nolan..... kissing.
My heart shattered into a million pieces.
"How'd you get this? Are you following me around?", Chloe snapped.
"I wasn't following you. I was following Nolan cos he stood me up. Now, would explain to us why you're dating Keith and Nolan at the same time", Hailey smiled devilishly.
"I'm not dating anyone", Chloe said and left to her locker.
I followed her and stopped her in her tracks.
"Forrest, are you back together with Nolan?", I asked sounding a little hurt.
Just when I thought we had chemistry.
"No, the kiss was a mistake and I regret letting him kiss me"
"When did it happen?"
"Saturday"
"And you didn't think to tell me?"
"I didn't think it was necessary. I'm sorry", she apologized, holding my hand.
"I'm sure you are", I left her standing there, I didn't even bother to turn back when she yelled my name.
I'm hurt but I'm not supposed to be, so why the hell am I hurt?
I feel like I'm being selfish, cos we aren't dating, yet I'm excessively jealous.

CHLOE'S POV
So, Keith has been avoiding me ever since he found out that Nolan kissed me.
Why is he avoiding me? It's not like we're dating or something. Besides he has a girlfriend, and I should respect that and stop letting him kiss me.
School is over so I'm standing in front of Keith's car, waiting for him to show up so we can talk.
He finally shows up and stares at me for a few seconds before speaking.
"Get in the car", and then he got in. I did same before speaking
"I thought since you're avoiding me, you won't take me home"
" I'm not that heartless", he spoke briefly.
" Keith, I'm sorry", I apologized but he didn't reply, instead he drove off.
