The five were on a boat and kakashi spoke up when they were half way through their journey on the water.
Kakashi: well don't you think should come clean now, I was keeping myself quiet about it, but I think you should at least tell us, whose really after you, because I have a feeling it isn't the mist village.
Tazuna looked down sweating profusely [how did he know] he 'sighed' then said "alright, I'll come clean the person whose truly after me is Gato, Gato the drug lord".
Tazuna soon started crying and was guilt tripping the group, into continuing the journey, after succeeding he turned around and broke the fourth wall, he put his thumb up and said "nailed it".
Tazuna looked forward after seeing the fog fade he then said to the group "it seems we're here, can you guys be quiet when we pass through the tunnel".
While passing through the tunnel they looked around expecting to be ambushed, all they saw were the shadows flickering while they were passing through the tunnel and it sent shivers down the young newbie's spines.
After they finally left the tunnel the kids breathed a sigh of relief, they looked at the tunnel feeling something was watching them in the dark, then they turned their gazes towards the village, that was coming into their view.
Sakura muttered to herself "I'm pretty sure I felt a gaze in that tunnel or maybe more than one gaze".
Naruto with his keen hearing also thought the same, but his senses were higher and he could sense hundreds of eyes staring.
Some time later.
Naruto waved his hands up in the air while shouting "whew! finally, my ass is all stiff now, from that ride", he looked like an old man while holding his back.
Kakashi wanted to face palm, and Sasuke just spoke while walking past him "idiot, crane".
Tazuna finished speaking with the boatsmen and said "alright from here, we'll have to walk".
Kakashi said to himself feeling annoyed "obviously we're walking we just got off the damn boat".
They quickly arrived at a dense forest and kakashi felt something off.
As did the other two boys only Sakura was confused as with Tazuna.
Naruto pushed forward, looking in every direction, trying to act useful, he threw a kunai in the bushes and almost killed a rabbit.
Kakashi also felt it even more now, that something was severely off "aren't these rabbits seen in rain environments".
Just as he said this a giant sword came towards them and kakashi shouted "get down!".
The sword was embedded into the tree and someone was seen standing on it, like how piccolo would be seen standing on a spike with his arms crossed after his squad was beaten to a pulp.
Kakashi who was standing on a tree branch he jumped on, asked the unknown man "you, your name's zabuza right? Rogue ninja of the hidden mist".
Naruto tried to have a fight with the guy and kakashi pulled Naruto back after he jumped back down "leave it Naruto, this isn't something you can handle, protect Tazuna".
Zabuza: hmm, well if isn't the copy ninja kakashi of the sharingan, well that's too bad, but you'll still have to hand over the old man.
The entire area around them started turning into mist quickly and kakashi shouted "get in formation, stay close to each other".
Zabuza: enough talking, it's goodbye.
He looked at kakashi and said "it seems I need to go through you first".
'whoosh'
He quickly disappeared and was heard saying "8 points, larex, spine, lungs, liver, jugular, subclavian artery, kidneys, heart, now which will be my kill point".
Kakashi immediately dispersed some mist and he looked back at the shaken Sasuke and he said to the boy "Sasuke! Calm down, I won't allow any of you to die".
"Too late" zabuza was in the middle of the four and kakashi quickly rushed forward stabbing zabuza, in which it turned to water.
And zabuza attacked kakashi from behind "what, since when" much to zabuza's shock kakashi did the same trick, turned to water and appeared behind him while saying "don't move, you've lost".
Zabuza appeared behind kakashi and spoke.
Zabuza: it's just a poor imitation, ahhh!.
Kakashi: what?
Zabuza was stabbed by something unknown, it was an all black looking ninja no face could be seen and it's blood lust was even more intense than zabuza's.

It quickly vanished into the shadows as if it was never there to begin with, zabuza fell to the ground.
He looked at kakashi who had a shocked face and he said to him "so that thing isn't with you", 'cough'.
Kakashi who felt stupor'd by the appearance of that shadow like appearance without a face, kakashi had a good look at its face after all.
He could feel no malice from it but its face haunted him, it was like an endless abyss.
He quickly replied to zabuza "it ain't, but don't think I'll let you go, just cause your injured, this is over".
Just as kakashi said this, three needles stabbed into zabuza's neck.
And a person was seen from out of nowhere, just standing on a branch.
???: you were right, it is over.
Kakashi pressed his fingers on zabuza's neck and felt no pulse, he looked at the person who spoke and replied to her/him.
Kakashi: your a tracker ninja from the hidden village, hidden in the mist aren't you.
Sakura went on to speak about tracking ninja duties and stuff, and Naruto went on to feel useless again and started to let his outburst on the newcomer.
And the tracker ninja just jumped down from the branch and picked up zabuza and disappeared.
Naruto ran towards the disappeared tracker ninja and started hitting the ground.
Kakashi: he's gone Naruto, let it go.
Kakashi thought to himself [this kid, is he seriously angry about someone taking the credit].
Kakashi: let's go, we can't keep dawdling, there may be more hidden dangers.
He was still thinking about that pure black embodiment that was merging with the shadows, that had a ninjas appearance and he thought [is that the feeling I felt when we entered the tunnel, it felt similar].
