Watching Germia stagger, I smiled bitterly. She must be very shocked. I myself am still in shock. The Alpha is the last person I'd expect to be my mate.
"Don't tell anyone, okay?" I whispered in her ear, and she nodded, her face still filled with shock.
"Let's go," Kaidon said, looking at me, and I nodded and followed behind him until we got to where no one was. Then I stopped. He noticed too and stopped.
"Where are we going?" I questioned, and he let out a sigh.
"Ain't you hungry?" he asked. I shook my head.
"Don't be stubborn. I know you haven't eaten anything. That's why you came to the kitchen," he said.
"Yes, but that shouldn't concern you," I declared, my gaze now intense. "Keep your distance from me," I insisted, and he looked at me as if I were speaking gibberish.
"Why should I?, why are you acting all strange? Playing hard to get?" he questioned, and I scoffed at his words.
"I don't want you around me. Is that too hard to ask?"
