I did just like Ryan said. I waited. Anxiously and skeptically. He'll come find me, Ryan had said but it's been 4 hours, 45 minutes and 38 seconds and yet, no sign of the man.
I do badly wanted to venture into the forest to find him...I felt like I knew where to find him but my last memories in the forest had me rooted on spot. I was too scared to venture out there alone, scared that Alpha Bastian will appear out of nowhere just like that day.
I yawned for the 5th time since the clock ticked 11 pm. My eyelids were heavy like they carried blocks that weigh them down. I didn't want to risk falling asleep but I found myself snuggling into the thick blanket.
I fought falling asleep...I didn't want to be taken off guard when he finally comes back...I planned to be chill about it as if not knowing he lost control of his wolf earlier. But as time ticked, so does my battle with sleep waned.
