Chapter 4 - Things That Almost Felt Real

Haiku 1 – Euphoria

For just one moment, nothing hurt and no one lied. That was almost joy.

Poem: "Windowlight"

You ever feel sunlight and realizeyou've been living in grayscale?

You don't say anything.You just breathe deeper.Blink slower.Smile, quietly.

That's how I define joy.Not loud. Not wild.Just the moment I don't feel like escaping.

One-line Reflection:

I don't chase happiness. I just stand still and let it find me brave enough to stay.

Haiku 2 – Peace

She looked at me softand for once, I didn't flinch. That must be peace, right?

Poem: "Utopia, Briefly"

It wasn't a place.It was a glance.A playlist.A hoodie I forgot I left in your room.

Utopia was her in that second, laughing at something stupid I said, while time forgot to move.

Haiku 3 – Escape

I found my heavenin the way your hand found minewithout needing words.

Poem: "When My Mind Went Quiet"

I sat still. No thoughts at war.No memory chasing me down.

Just me.A room. And a song that somehow felt like silence in color.

And I thought,Maybe this is what peace sounds likewhen it finally forgives you.

One-line Reflection:

One-line Reflection:

Maybe the feeling I called joy was just relief in disguise.
