Chapter 10 - Chapter 10

As Nikael continued advancing he saw a multi-story building in the distance.-Nikael stopped to think.-That must be another area, if it was random, they surely wanted us to be distributed equally, otherwise there would be more dead, I must have found a place that would allow me to escape at any time.

Nikael scouted around for a suitable location, but all the buildings were at least two stories high. Despite the fruitlessness of his search, Nikael continued searching until he felt the unpleasant smell becoming stronger. He decided to enter a three-story building that on the outside indicated "Gariast Lawyers and Associates." He stayed on the second floor because it had blinds. way and then enter.

-I knew that thing inspects regular lodging buildings. -Nikael thought as he looked at the gun in his hand. -Someone has already killed one of those things. Will it be possible to kill this one? Will it be worth it? What are we here for?

Nikael waited as long as necessary until the Creature left the hotel again. He left the building he was in and shouted:

-hey! hey! here!

The Creature turned and began to run towards him.

-Stop! Stop! -As the Creature did not pay attention to him or did not understand him, Nikael shot into the air as a warning and observed the Creature's reaction.

The Creature stopped, then he asked him:

-Do you understand me?

-I doooo iiiiit (I do it). -Expressed the Creature with a guttural voice.

-What are you looking for in buildings? -Nikael asked him.

-Foooooooood (food). -Replied the Creature.

-Am I food? -Nikael asked.

-Meeee...aaaaat, I'm loooookiiiiiiign fooooor meeee...aaaat (Meat, I'm looking for meat). -Replied the Creature.

-How do you know which buildings are residential? -Nikael continued asking.

-Nooooo...teees, buuuuiiil...diiings, wiiith daaaams (Notes, buildings, with dams)

Nikael was a little surprised to corroborate his doubts, but since he still had more questions he continued:

-Did you find food?

-Veeeeery liiiiittleeee(very little). -answered the Creature.

-The small portions of meat in the refrigerators; Due to its smell it can be a scavenger. -Nikael thought.

After thinking a little, without letting his guard down, Nikael told him:

-Follow your path, I will follow mine.

-Hungeeeer (Hunger). -Said the creature.

-Do you eat decaying meat? -Nikael asked him.

-Iiiiit dooo...eeesn't maaaa...tteeer (it doesn't matter). -Replied the Creature.

-Whereeeee? (Where?)-Asked the creature.

-Go straight, first fork to the right, go straight, third fork to the left...-Nikael explained as best he could, if that Creature couldn't understand it, he didn't consider it a problem.

After explaining to the creature, Nikael turned his back on it and continued on his way. But Nikael knew, that Creature wanted to eat him.
