Jiangzhu City, adjacent to Binhai City, was about a two-hour drive from downtown Binhai.
The city, built along a riverside, enjoyed a spring-like climate all year round. With its pleasant scenery and thriving economy, it had earned the nickname "the Pearl of the Riverside"—Jiangzhu City.
Vanilla World was one of Jiangzhu's most popular tourist destinations, often referred to as the "Provence of the East."
It was a world of flowers: aromatherapy gardens, seas of roses, tulip fields—nearly a hundred acres of cultivated land. Vegetable orchards, plantations, and floral cultivation bases were all part of the vast expanse.
Its romantic landscape made it a favorite among couples. Every day, newlyweds came to take wedding photos, and today, it had become the location of Liang Zhihang's latest shoot.
Chen Mo gently held Xiao Yu's hand as they stepped into the garden.
Before them lay the most breathtaking part of Vanilla World: the Rose Sea. Chen Mo had contacted the park's management and secured permission for them to enter the very center of the Rose Sea—the most picturesque spot of all.
This season, the roses were in full bloom. Scarlet petals stretched as far as the eye could see, forming a sea of color, romantic and stunning.
Before long, the couple arrived at a small open space in the middle of the Rose Sea.
Xiao Yu stood at the center, wearing a dazzling rose-red wedding gown. With the help of Xiaoman and the others, the dress was carefully arranged in the sea of flowers. She blended perfectly into the scene—like a fairy emerging from the blossoms, elegant and radiant, a living embodiment of the legendary "ten-mile red bridal makeup."
"Look at the bride—she's gorgeous!"
"She's like a fairy from a painting!"
"That wedding dress… I want it. Why isn't the bride me?"
Around the Rose Sea, many female tourists couldn't help but gaze in awe and envy. They whispered amongst themselves, watching from a distance, unable to come any closer.
Chen Mo sat opposite Xiao Yu, dressed in a retro black swallowtail tuxedo. His bowtie had been removed, giving him a vintage, slightly roguish charm, just as Liang Zhihang had instructed.
"Okay! Bride, gaze into the groom's eyes," Liang Zhihang called from behind the camera. "Think back to the moment your heart first fluttered when you met him."
Hearing his words, Xiao Yu's mind drifted back to the library at Binhai University, to the moment Chen Mo rushed over and shielded her from the falling bookshelf.
It was then her heart first skipped a beat—and eventually, she had given him everything.
Thinking about it filled her eyes with emotion. She smiled radiantly, truly like a flower fairy.

The camera shutter snapped, capturing the moment forever.
Apparently not yet satisfied, Liang Zhihang shifted his position and took several more shots from different angles before finally lowering the camera.
A fairy in a sea of flowers—the kind of image that felt like fireworks in a hologram.
Satisfied with his work, Liang Zhihang beamed. It had been a long time since he'd felt such creative inspiration. Today, his artistic senses were fully awakened.
Most wedding photos followed the same formula—hugging couples, fixed poses, generic backgrounds. But this shoot was different. The wedding gown, the theme, and Xiao Yu's ethereal presence made these photos something truly special.
Unfortunately, their schedule was tight. Chen Mo had no time for a leisurely world tour to find exotic backdrops. But even so, these photos would be one of a kind.
"All right! On to the next location!" Liang Zhihang called out.
They left the Rose Sea and headed toward the aromatherapy gardens. After completing the shoot in Vanilla World, they continued on to Baimu Forest and Shennong Peak.
All day long, Chen Mo and Xiao Yu followed Liang Zhihang's shooting plan. Xiaoman, Duan Muqing, and the others stayed close by, assisting throughout.
Each wedding gown came with a different color and pattern, tailored to suit each unique location. Every time Xiao Yu appeared in a new one, the team couldn't help but admire her all over again.
By sunset, under the glowing sky and the towering boulders of Goddess Peak, the last photos of the day were taken—marking the end of the hectic but memorable wedding shoot.
Binhai City, Lanhai Building
A black Audi slowly pulled into the parking lot of the Lanhai Building. The door opened, and out stepped Zhang Fengyun. Dressed in his signature black trench coat, he looked energetic and focused, with his assistant trailing behind.
He had halted production of his new drama yesterday. After wrapping up a few matters this morning, he immediately made his way to Binhai.
Large holographic projectors had become an invaluable tool for film production. As long as he could meet with Chen Mo, this technology could mark a whole new chapter in his filmmaking career.
Though he was already a well-known director with many acclaimed works, his recent films hadn't performed as well at the box office. He needed a breakthrough project to prove himself again and elevate his craft to the next level.
Now, he had that opportunity in hand—a major IP project.
Its content and worldbuilding were excellent, and the visuals it described were nothing short of breathtaking. It was already popular online and had a built-in fanbase. All he had to do was bring it to life, and the result would be nothing short of a blockbuster.
As the first true holographic film, it had the potential to surpass Avatar and become a new landmark in cinema. If he could pull it off, he wouldn't just be a director—he'd become a legend.
Because of this, he had rushed to Binhai without hesitation.
Li Zhiyong was already waiting to greet him. Seeing Zhang Fengyun step out, he walked up with a smile.
"Director Zhang! I've been waiting for you."
"Hello," Zhang Fengyun replied politely.
"I've reserved a private room at the club. You must be tired after your flight. Let's discuss things over a drink."
"Sure, let's go."
Zhang Fengyun didn't object. He was used to these social routines—it was often the easiest way to build connections.
Inside the club's private room, Li Zhiyong retrieved a document from his briefcase and handed it over.
"This was prepared by our company's planning team. It outlines the full implementation plan for Chen Mo's wedding."
Their wedding company was one of the most reputable in the country, and their planning team was top-tier. That's how they had achieved such excellent results so far. However, Chen Mo's wedding was too unique—none of their in-house directors could handle the scale and complexity. That's why they'd turned to Zhang Fengyun.
Zhang took the file and began reading through the plan.
"I'll give you some time to look it over. In the meantime, I'll call Chen Mo and arrange tomorrow's meeting."
Li Zhiyong dialed Chen Mo's number and waited. After a few rings, the call connected.
"Hello?"
"Hello, Mr. Chen Mo. This is Li Zhiyong, General Manager of Shili Red Makeup," he introduced himself quickly.
"Ah, General Li. Go ahead."
"We've finished drafting your wedding plan. I was wondering if you have time tomorrow for a presentation? We've reserved a meeting room at the Blue Ocean Club."
"Sure. Let's discuss it in detail tomorrow."
"Great! Then we'll wait for you at 10 a.m. at the Blue Ocean Building." The call ended smoothly, and Li Zhiyong hung up, visibly pleased.
In their hotel room in Jiangzhu City, Xiao Yu looked at Chen Mo curiously. "Was that call urgent?"
"It was the manager from Shili Red Makeup. The wedding plan is ready, and they want to meet tomorrow. Nothing too urgent," Chen Mo replied. "We've been running around all day. You should take a bath and get some rest—we're heading back to Binhai City tomorrow morning."
"What about you?" she asked.
"I'll check Zhao Min's email. She sent over a list of key partners. Some of them I'll need to call personally to invite to our wedding," Chen Mo said.
"Okay," Xiao Yu nodded. "Just don't overwork yourself."
