Amera's POV
I spent a few more days at the hospital and eventually returned home. Since I wasn't able to start my training last week, my first session has been rescheduled for today. It's Wednesday, and I've been expecting my instructor, Indigo. At exactly 2:50 p.m., Indigo arrived at the house.
"Let's go to the firing range," she said, taking me to an open field.
"We're going to start by shooting those apples," she pointed to apples tied on cans. "But before that, you need to choose your firearm. I brought some for you." She walked to her big bag and took out about seven pistols, arranging them on the table.
"None of these guns are loaded; I want you to choose the one that best fits your hand."
