"My goodness!" Kendrick gasped, horror flashing through his eyes. "You were killed by your own brother."
"Welcome to my world." Hiraya chuckled grimly as she scrolled up.
Next, a pretty young blonde woman with magical, calm emerald eyes filled the screen. She seemed happy, content and at peace with her surroundings as she held a bunny tenderly to her chest.
"Is that your sister?" Kendrick asked, noticing the striking resemblance between the blonde lady and Hiraya's real picture.
"No.....this was the angel who gave me life....my mom." A sorrowful smile touched Hiraya's lips as she stroked the screen affectionately.
"This was before she was taken as a spoil of war by my father and turned into this." She tapped on the keyboard, and the image of the battered woman's face that came up nearly made Kendrick choke on his saliva.
The current bruised and disfigured woman looked nothing like the pretty lady in the previous picture
