Ariana's Manipulation
Exactly 2 am in the morning, Mahira receives a call from the office.
Rachel," Madam,im sorry for calling at this time but someone hacked into the company's account and we are going backrupt."
Mahira," what do you mean? How can they simply hack into the account. Solve it!"
Rachel," Madam,we told you about this last month but you just ignored the issue."
Mahira hung up.
MAHIRA'S POV
What kind of illegitimate test was this now? I had to find my son's and Elena as well. As if that problem wasn't enough if I don't solve the company issue then AMS will shut down permanently,from hero to zero. I can't loose this business at all. Kaashvi is in Korea. I don't want to bother her. Thane is not in the condition to even handle himself then how will he manage the company. I lost my whole family and I can't even cry over it because of all these problems. I can't even mourn my family's death. It I don't act quick then I'll loose everything that im left with. How will I find the children if I don't have any money.
End of Mahira's POV
Mahira ordered some takeaway breakfast and immediately left for the office. When she got there thing's were a mess. Her loyal employees had all been fired and replaced with new intern's. The interior design was horrible. The new intern's were inexperienced and slacked of at work. One of the intern's, Bridget decided to bully Mahira now knowing that Mahira was the boss. Mahira seemed like an easy target because she was wearing a plain traditional Indian saree.
Bridget," Hey you, simpleton! How the hell did a lowlife stinking girl like you get hired in such a reputable company."
Mahira simply kept quiet and let her speak. Bridget pours a hot soup of coffee all over Mahira's dress. Mahira lost her temper and slapped Bridget sending her straight to the floor.
Mahira," you are fired!"
Bridget quickly got up in an attempt to attack Mahira but Rachel's voice stop's her.
" BRIDGET!"
Bridget turned and looked at Rachel.
" Ms Rachel,this good for nothing employee is being rude. I accidentally spilled coffee on her. While I was trying to apologize, she slapped me. She even has the audacity to tell me that im fired."
Rachel," Bridget,pack your things and leave. If the boss say's you're fired then she really means it "
Bridget looked at Mahira as if she had seen a ghost.
" Ma...ma....dam... I... I'm sorry... I di..."
Mahira," employees like you don't deserve to even work in my company. Leave these premises before I loose my mind."
Mahira left without saying another word followed by Rachel. As she read countless documents and data in the laptops. Her anger and stress rose with each second.
Mahira," Rachel, what the fuck is this? New intern's, employees,fucked up rules and all this shit,what is going on?"
Rachel," you are the one who changed everything. Madam with all due respect, the company is experiencing this because of you. No one else is to blame either than you. You have been acting weird, you filled all the experienced employees, that's really fucked up."
Mahira," No. I didn't do that. Listen I can explain but contact all the employees who worked here when I was in charge and find a way to let them come back. Pursued them, bribe them, I really don't care. These fuckin new intern's, I don't want them unless they are hired by me. Everything that was changed recently, change it back to it's original state."
Rachel," Yes ma'am."
Meanwhile Ariana visits Thane. Thane was not in the right state of mind. He was vulnerable and easy to manipulate and take advantage of.
Ariana," aw Thane. Your dearest wife just left you here all alone."
Thane," she will come back but what are you doing here?"
Ariana," Don't you want to know who helped me murder your family. Aren't you curious?"
Thane," you did it by yourself Ariana, and I will get you punished, just wait and watch."
Ariana," No, no, no, no, no, no, no Thane. It doesn't work that way. When you commit a crime, you get punished along with your ally. Do you wanna know who helped me out?"
Thane," whoever helped you will be punished as well."
Ariana," your dear sweet grandmother is very ,very strong. I don't understand how she survived a bomb blast whilst the younger died. Isn't it strange. The ambulance found her breathing."
Thane," where is my grandma? What did you do to her?"
Ariana," I didn't do anything. It was your fuckin unloyal wife Mahira. She finished her off. As soon as Mahira found out that Alf had survived she butchered the old woman and fed her to the wild animals in the zoo."
Thane," N....no...no...my Mahi can't do that... she... she is not capable of doing such a horrible thing."
Thane was trembling as he listened to Ariana and defended Mahira.
Ariana," Really? Are you sure your Mahi can't do that? She is very much capable. Even I was shocked that Mahi did such a terrible thing. But I was there. I even have evidence,look."
Ariana shows Thane video of Mahira stabbing Alf twenty time's before using a machine to cut her into pieces. The video was so horrifying just like a horror movie. Only Ariana knew that it was not Mahira but it was Aliya. Thane didn't want to believe it but all the evidence was right in front of him.
Ariana," in this life, Thane, there's no such thing as happy ever after. Your Mahira is an absolute monster. Haven't you wondered as to whom had killed your family. Atleast I gave them an immediate death but your darling Mahira killed your grandma brutally. She was arrested but she evaded the law with her power. What are you going to do about it? Here's what you can do, torture her yourself. Punish her for her misdeeds Thane."
Thane," No! This is a lie,it can't be true. Ma... Mahi can't... she's not capable of.."
Ariana," think about it Thane, she has all the reason to do this to you. In highschool you rejected her, so she has a reason to do this to you. Your poor sister Elena was Mahira's pawn then later she used her son's. Let me tell you a little secret. Mahira is a sex addict. Those children,whom you consider your own aren't yours. Angelo and Alexander are someone else son's not yours."
Thane broke everything that was close to him. His mind was a mess. His heart kept telling him not to believe Ariana but his mind believed each and every single word that came out of Ariana's mouth. The DNA report was there, the videos, pictures were there and even real life evidence was there. Ariana watched him with a psychotic smile on her face. This was the next stage of her plan. She didn't mind getting arrested as long as her plan worked.
Ariana," Thane, you can't let Mahira win. She played you. She's a psychopath and she'll ruin you. Do something about it Thane. The law can't punish her but you can. Take everything away from her and make her feel the same pain she caused you."
Ariana smiled as she looked at Thane.
" Your grandmother was in tear's, even I felt sorry for her. Thane you can't let Mahi be free. She needs to be punished. Thane I regret killing your family, you can lock me up in prison but prison is not enough. She deserves severe punishment. You are in the army, you know how to punish people like her don't you."
Ariana's smile was sinister and evil as she looked at Thane.
" Thane, you need to teach your wife a lesson m she is a god-damned criminal. Only you can tame her,teach her a lesson."
Ariana said all those words as she disappeared through the door. Thane was just filled with hatred and spite for Mahira and he was sure going to punish her for her deeds. Thane's phone pierced the silence. His eye's burning with anger and hatred for Mahira. He finally picked the call at the third ring
Commander," Thane,we need you on duty as soon as possible. An attack has been planned,it might ruin ( destroy) the country."
Thane," Yes sir."
Thane left without saying goodbye to Mahira. He didn't even leave a note or message to inform her.
Thane's jet soared into the night sky,his focus laser sharp. Intel suggested a rogue operation was underway. Thane's thoughts drifted to Mahira. He pushed aside the distraction. Thane's jet dived toward the enemy base, evading anti aircraft fire. His co pilot, Bianca navigated the terrain. Thane parachuted into the darkness, landing silently. His night vision goggles revealed the layout. Thane sprinted toward the central room. Gunfire erupted around him. He returned fire, precision his only thought. Suddenly a figure emerged from the shadows.
" Commander Thane," a familiar voice said.
Thanes heart skipped a beat.
" Ariana?"
Ariana's smile twisted," you're just in time to witness the beginning. I didn't think you'd come. "
Thanes grip on his gun tightened. Ariana's laughter echoed through the base. Thane's eyes narrowed. Ariana's smile grew.
" The pieces are in place. I wouldn't have been able to do it without Mahira's help."
Thanes anger flared,but training kept him calm.
" So Mahira is also a part of this. Where is she?"
Ariana chuckled.
" She's still my ally. Why should I snitch on her?"
Thane lunged ,but Ariana vanished into the shadows.
" Bianca, I need extraction." Thane shouted into his comms.
Thane's gaze swept the area. Ariana's escape router were limited. Suddenly gunfire erupted from the control room. Thane charged towards the control room. A loud explosion cocked the room. Thane struggled to his feet , eyes scanning the smoke filled room . The count down timer on the screen faced towards zero.
