" Bianca report!"
Thane shouted into his comms. Static responded. Thane's heart sank. He was alone. A figure emerged from the smoke. Ariana.
Ariana sneered," You're too late, Thane. Project eclipse will change everything."
Thane charged,gun drawn. Ariana vanished into the shadows. Suddenly the room shook. Equipment crushed. Thane stumbled. The countdown timer hit zero. A blinding flash enveloped the room. Thane shielded his eye's. When he opened them, Ariana stood before him,a triumphant smile on her face.
" It's done " she whispered
Thane's anger flared.
" What have you done?" He demanded.
Ariana's laughter echoed through the room.
" You'll see,soon enough. You will actually witness how a lowlife girl like me will destroy everything. And guess what Thane. This is all your fault!"
Project eclipse's consequences unfolded like a nightmare. Thane's vision blurred,and his head spun. When his sight cleared,he stood in a desolate landscape. Ruin's stretched as far as the eye could see. Ariana's laughter echoed through the wasteland. Thane's anger burned hotter than ever.
Thane charged, determined to stop her. But Ariana vanished, leaving him alone admist the devastation. As Thane navigated the ruin's,he encountered survivor's. They spoke catastrophic events in three different countries. Eclipse had triggered explosions, causing tall buildings to fall apart,being destroyed, falling and crashing, killing every soul that was in these buildings. Those countries were in chaos. Thane knew that if he didn't stop Ariana, millions of people would die. With newfound determination, Thane set out to join the fight against Ariana. Thane tracked Ariana to her hidden command center,his determination fueled by his family's death. Thane charged, dodging guard's. He reached the central console and initiated the self destruct sequence.
A gunshot echoed through the room. Thane felt searing pain in his shoulder. Ariana stood over him ,gun smoking. Thane coughed, struggling to stand. The self destruct sequence counted down. Thane grabbed Ariana, ensuring she wouldn't escape. The command center erupted in flames. Thane stumbled out, Ariana in tow. He called Bianca.
" Extract me." Thane ordered," Ariana is with me."
Bianca's voice remained calm," on it's way, commander."
Thane's vision blurred. He fell. When Thane opened his eyes,he lay in a hospital bed. Mahira held his hand.
" Thane... you are awake. I thought I'd loose..."
Thane withdrew his hand from Mahira's and looked away with disgust.
Mahira," Thane... what's wrong? It's me.. Mahi.. your Mahi."
Thane," stay away from me you fuckin bitch."
Mahira looked at him confused. He had left and now he's back and he was angry at her.
" Thane, you went on a mission without telling me. When Bianca told me what happened, I thought I was going to loose you. I was so scared when you were soaked with blood. I understand, maybe you are angry because you are in pain."
Thane looked at her with disgust written on his face.
" Really Mahi. You have the audacity to come back to me after everything you did. Right now I can't even recognize you,im not sure if I married Mahira or a sly selfish snake."
Mahira," wh....at are you talking about Thane. I... I am ....no..t a snake...wh...y are you...."
Thane," ooh shut up you bitch! You killed my grandma and my whole family. You deceived me and made me believe that Angelo and Alexander were my son's."
Mahira," Really? Are you questioning my character. Thane you are misunderstanding me like for real. Are we going to do this again? What kind of accusations are these?"
Thane shouted," I don't want to see your fuckin face, leave!"
Mahira," Thane... I..."
Thane," go home and run away from this country. If I fuckin find you home after I recover, I will destroy you."
Mahira looked at him searching for a hint of kindness but all she could see was his hatred. She didn't understand why he had suddenly changed but for the moment he was angry so she left him for the sake of his health. Meanwhile in prison, a woman ( with her face covered completely) visited Ariana.
ARIANA'S POV
Thane was now under my control. I smiled as I watched the video handed over to me by the real mastermind of my plan. Mahira and Thane's relationship was now totally ruined. Eclipse was just a distraction so that Thane could be convinced that Mahira was in cahoots with me. Eclipse was also to make Mahira believe that her son's and fairy goddaughter were dead. Actually Mahira would still believe that the children are alive but it would be proven otherwise to Thane. As long as Thane keeps Mahira captive and tortures her then Mahira won't be able to look for those children. I agree I am in prison but my revenge is complete. I wouldn't have been able to do it without my master. I had been planning this for five years and now I succeeded. Thane and Mahira had lost. My master would get me out of prison somehow but for now, I don't mind living in prison. Mahira will never be able to prove herself innocent. My master will live with Thane and get what she wants, so it's a win win.
End of Ariana's POV
As Ariana looked at her master,her face was beaming with joy.
Ariana," master,our five years long wait was worth it. It paid of,now you can be with Thane."
Bianca," Yes Ariana, luckily no one knows that im the one who really helped you. I can get what I want. You know 5 years ago I fell in love with Thane but he...he just talked about Mahira and his family all the time. I couldn't bare it. Of I couldn't get Thane then no one else deserved him. Now,he trusts me completely. Just wait and watch how Mahira will suffer while I consummate with her husband."
Ariana," Congratulations master. I couldn't have done this without you. Aliya was just a pawn in my plan,that girl fell for it. Thane is blinded by his anger and hatred for Mahira so he is very predictable. You will see, he'll gladly invite you into his home just to cause Mahira pain."
Bianca," And I... will watch that bitch Mahira suffer. I will make out with her husband right in front of her. I can already imagine the torture that slut will endure with me around."
Bianca bid Ariana goodbye and went to visit Thane in the hospital. She took care of Thane until he was discharged. Thane offered Bianca to be his girlfriend and she gladly agreed. Mahira had no idea what trouble she was going to encounter. When Thane got home the first thing he did was force Mahira to sign over all her properties to him.
