Bezalel, Oholiab, and every skilled person to whom the Lord had given wisdom and ability came forward to do the work of building the sanctuary, just as the Lord commanded. Moses called them, and they received from him all the offerings that the Israelites had brought.
Morning after morning the people kept bringing freewill gifts, until the craftsmen finally left their work and came to Moses, saying, "The people are bringing far more than enough for the work the Lord commanded to be done." So Moses ordered that no one should bring any more offerings, and the people were restrained, for what they had was already more than enough.
The skilled workers began working. They worked together, and in no time, all the work of the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, was completed. The Israelites had done everything just as the Lord commanded Moses.
Then, they brought the tabernacle to him—the tent with all its furnishings, its clasps, frames, crossbars, posts, and bases; the coverings of ram skins dyed red and hides of sea cows; the shielding curtain; the ark of the Testimony with its poles and the atonement cover; the table with all its articles and the bread of the Presence; the pure gold lampstand with its lamps and oil; the gold altar, the anointing oil, the fragrant incense, and the entrance curtain; the bronze altar with its grating, poles, and utensils; the basin with its stand; the courtyard curtains with their posts and bases, and the entrance curtain with its ropes and pegs; and all the garments for ministering in the sanctuary—both the sacred garments for Aaron the priest and the garments for his sons when serving as priests.
When Moses inspected everything, he saw that it had been made just as the Lord commanded. And Moses blessed them.
