The LORD spoke to Moses and said, "Tell the Israelites: Anyone, whether native-born or an alien living among you, who sacrifices their child to Molech must be put to death. The community is to stone them. I will set my face against that person and cut them off from their people, for by giving their children to Molech, they have defiled my sanctuary and profaned my holy name.
If the people of the community see this and fail to act, I will set my face against that person and their family, and all who follow them in prostituting themselves to Molech will also be cut off.
I will set my face against anyone who turns to mediums or spiritists to prostitute themselves by following them, and they too will be cut off from their people.
Consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I, the LORD your God, am holy. Keep my decrees and follow them, for I am the LORD who makes you holy.
If anyone curses their father or mother, they must be put to death—their blood will be on their own head.
If a man commits adultery with another man's wife, both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death. If a man sleeps with his father's wife, dishonoring his father, both must be put to death. If a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both must be put to death. If a man lies with another man as one lies with a woman, both are guilty of detestable acts and must be put to death.
If a man marries both a woman and her mother, all three must be burned in the fire, so no wickedness remains among you. If a man has sexual relations with an animal, both he and the animal must be put to death. If a woman approaches an animal to have sexual relations, both she and the animal must be killed.
If a man marries his sister and they have relations, they must be cut off from their people for dishonoring a close relative. If a man lies with a woman during her monthly period, both must be cut off from their people.
Do not have sexual relations with the sister of your father or mother; it dishonors close relatives. If a man sleeps with his aunt, both will be held responsible and die childless. If a man marries his brother's wife, it is impurity; they will be childless.
Keep all my decrees and laws so the land where I bring you will not vomit you out. Do not live according to the customs of the nations I am driving out, for I abhorred them. But I said to you, 'You will possess their land, a land flowing with milk and honey. I, the LORD your God, have set you apart from the nations.'
You must make a distinction between clean and unclean animals, and between clean and unclean birds. Do not defile yourselves with any animal, bird, or moving creature I have set apart as unclean. Be holy to me, for I, the LORD, am holy, and I have set you apart from the nations to be my own.
Any man or woman among you who is a medium or spiritist must be put to death. The community is to stone them, and their blood will be on their own heads."
