Chapter 109 - Chapter 109: I Am Your Real Mrs. Fu

Mrs. Song was overjoyed. "Ah, yes, yes, I understand—it's a secret! Miss Su—no, King—don't worry, I won't tell a soul. Thank you so much for this ointment."

Rosalie Su merely smiled at the bottle in Mrs. Song's hands and said nothing.

Behind them, Zane Song looked at her with wide eyes. "Second Brother, it turns out Rosalie Su—the eldest daughter of the Su family—is King!?"

Secretary Song added, "Yes, Mr. Fu. Rosalie Su is known for her exceptional talent in perfumery. Many in the industry have called her a prodigy. It all matches up. And... she's Su Xue's older sister. Honestly, I suspect Su Xue stole her sister's jade pendant to secure the marriage. In truth, sir, your real bride might be Rosalie Su."

Zane nodded eagerly. "Second Brother, you didn't like Su Wan'er before, but this Rosalie is different—she's talented, elegant, and she's King! A perfect match for you. So, when are you marrying her?"

But Nathaniel Fu didn't say a word. He turned and walked away, his tall figure quickly disappearing down the corridor.

Rosalie watched him leave, her expression unreadable. She turned to Mrs. Song with a gentle smile. "Mrs. Song, I have another appointment. Please excuse me."

Back at the Su residence, Rosalie returned like a crown jewel. Mrs. Su personally came out to welcome her, beaming with pride. The family's spirits had lifted entirely with the return of their most outstanding daughter from abroad.

Li Lan, however, was visibly anxious. "Rosalie, your sister Su Xue's phone has been unreachable. Where on earth is that girl? Didn't she settle things with Mr. Fu yet?"

Rosalie knew about the jade pendant and the arranged marriage. Two years ago, Su Xue had married what they thought was an illegitimate branch of the Fu family. Who could've guessed it would turn out to be the Nathaniel Fu?

Recalling his regal presence at the Chantilly Hotel, Rosalie's expression flickered for a brief second. She'd missed her chance at such an extraordinary match.

"Mom, Dad," she said, steadying her voice, "something feels off about all this. Where does Mr. Fu live? I'll go with you and ask him directly."

"I believe it's Yipinlan Villa," Li Lan replied. "Let's go now."

Yipinlan Villa.

In the quiet study, Nathaniel Fu was reviewing a contract, his expression cold and distant.

Secretary Song entered. "Mr. Fu, someone from the Su family is here."

"Let them in," Nathaniel replied without looking up.

Moments later, Su Changrong, Li Lan, and Rosalie Su stepped into the estate, their jaws tight with nervous tension. This was the first time they had ever entered a place as opulent as Yipinlan Villa—every detail of its understated luxury overwhelmed them.

As they were led into the dark-toned study, the air seemed colder. Nathaniel sat behind his desk, his sharp gaze focused on the paperwork in his hand, the only sound being the steady scratch of a fountain pen gliding across the paper.

Rosalie's eyes sparkled as she looked at him—he was the one. The man they called cold and unapproachable. And now, fate had brought them face-to-face once again.

Su Changrong cleared his throat nervously. "Mr. Fu... I-I apologize for the intrusion. We're here about our daughter, Su Xue. Her phone's been disconnected. We're concerned."

Nathaniel stopped writing and slowly looked up, his eyes sharp and unforgiving. "I hadn't come to you yet, but since you're here—tell me, was the jade pendant truly Su Xue's?"

Su Changrong and Li Lan stiffened. The color drained from their faces.

He knows.

Rosalie stepped forward before her parents could respond. Her voice was soft, almost musical. "Mr. Fu… The jade pendant isn't my sister's. It's mine. She took it from me without my knowledge. I'm here today to apologize on her behalf."

She paused, then added, "Two years ago, I was the one meant to marry you. I... I am your real Mrs. Fu."
