It was discovered when it came into contact with the main power unit of the facility for a few seconds, and those few seconds were enough to power the entire research facility for 4 hours.
The facility wasn't any normal facility, it was the main research center of the World Government of the Human race.
Powering that means powering thousands of high power-hungry machines at once. And the Soul Of God powered all that with just a contact of a few seconds.
The Soul Of God was later officially named the "Flux Reactor".
But people liked to call it many other names such as the "Sphere of God".
The origin of the sphere was still unknown, and even the known information about it was kept confidential for obvious reasons.
But it still somehow got leaked, and with that, many criminal organizations and even some of the royal families were after this sphere.
But now it wasn't taken by the ABI because the rock that covered the Sphere was still here.
If they really had taken the sphere, they would have never left this rock behind.
This rock isn't any normal rock, which they knew very well because something that came from outer space is always beyond ordinary.
