Chapter 6 - Chapter 2 – The Beginning of a Broken World

It had been two days since Kael "accepted" Lirieth as his system companion, and one day since the golden-haired girl, now revealed as Serenya, saved him from a system executor.

Since then, his life went from "boring and depressing" to "weird and mildly fatal."

And today...

he would leave his home planet — Myrevalis — for the first time.

---

> "We're heading to the old system's archive world," Serenya said that morning, casually, like naming a vacation spot.

Kael, still wearing curtain gloves: "Are we flying, portaling, or getting launched out of a giant slingshot?"

> "Dimensional portal," Lirieth answered. "Uncomfortable, but efficient."

Kael sighed. "Sure. I've never even ridden a horse, now I'm riding a dimensional vortex."

---

Kael's Power Progression:

Before departure, Lirieth forced Kael to open a hidden system layer normally locked to high-tier users.

---

📜 [System Access – Forbidden Subclass]

Subclass Offered:

> Fragment Bearer

Bearer of fragments unrecognized by the system. Can accidentally damage or heal dimensional gaps.

Initial Skills Unlocked:

[Minor Distortion Lv.1]: Slight space tear when emotionally unstable.

[Flicker Step Lv.1]: Short-range step through unstable space (sometimes fails).

[Gap Vision]: Occasionally sees what shouldn't be seen.

---

> "So my power is... broken?" Kael asked.

> "Not broken," Lirieth replied. "Just... irregular. Like you."

---

Meanwhile on Myrevalis...

Kael's sisters — Meliora, Ilyne, and Sireen — started noticing strange events.

> Meliora sees non-physical injuries appearing on villagers.

Ilyne receives visions of a world split in half.

Sireen picks up signals from beyond the stars, from unlisted creatures.

They don't yet know it…

But their fates are tangled with Kael's.

---

Dimensional Portal Journey

Going through the portal wasn't like floating in glowing light.

> It was like falling through screaming fog, wrapped in barbed silence.

Kael saw something in that fog...

> Eyes.

Not one. Millions.

All looking at him.

All laughing without sound.

---

> [Warning: Minor Cosmic Entity Detected]

[Connection: Fragment in Kael Virdane drawing attention...]

> "LIRIETH! WHAT IS THAT ABOVE ME?!"

"Ignore it! Do not respond to voices without origin!"

---

They landed on Arxen Rho, once the system's archive world, now ruined.

The only thing left standing: The Black Glass Tower — where every forgotten fate is locked.

And where Kael would discover...

> Who he really was.

> And who deleted his original fate.
