Synopsis
In the boundless multiverse of Ardhaleon, trillions of worlds are tied together by a mysterious System that defines all: level, skills, and class. Kael Virdane is the ninth son of a fallen noble house, born without ambition, without dreams—without even a class. In a world that praises power and glory, Kael simply wants to be left alone. But fate has other plans. As ancient forces rise to shatter the System, Kael is thrust into a role he never wanted—surrounded by powerful women, deadly siblings, an absurd number of class options, and enemies who want to rewrite reality itself. With a cautious heart, a pessimistic mind, and a knack for saying the wrong thing at the worst time, Kael must navigate a cosmic war he didn’t sign up for. > The world wants a hero. Kael just wants a nap. But refusing fate… might just be his greatest power.

Chapter 1 - Prologue

> "The world didn't end in fire. It unraveled in silence—choice by choice."

— Final note of Vaerin Virdane

Ardhaleon is not a single world.

It is a lattice of uncountable realms—trillions of planets, each with its own sky, its own history, and its own pain.

Every living being in Ardhaleon is bound by one law: The System.

They are born with stats, level up, gain skills, and receive classes—ranging from "Knight of Solar Flame" to "Beekeeper of Void Bees." No one truly knows how it works. But one truth remains: the weak are forgotten, the strong are worshipped.

But now, something is breaking.

Classes are glitching. Rules are shifting.

And some souls who were never meant to rise… are rising too fast.

From the shadows crawl the Defiers—beings from distant worlds with one goal: to destroy the System itself.

---

Far from all that, in a crumbling manor on the bleak world of Myrevalis, a young man wakes up like any other morning. Hair messy, status window blank, dreams nonexistent.

Kael Virdane, ninth child of a minor noble family, starts his day with one thought:

> "If I fake my death today, maybe everyone will finally forget I exist."

Unfortunately for Kael, fate isn't that kind.

In fact, fate has just started watching him very closely.

---

Elsewhere, a man rises from cracked crystal rubble.

His breath is shallow, his body broken—but his eyes glow.

He is Vaerin Virdane, Kael's eldest brother, long thought dead in a family power struggle.

He whispers, "Kael… stay alive…"

---

Meanwhile, across the stars:

A girl hums an unfinished song to the sky.

A cyber warrior punches a failing status screen.

A forest guardian whispers to an ancient tree, "The balance has shifted…"

---

This is not the tale of a hero.

This is the tale of someone the world never chose.

Someone who doesn't believe in destiny.

Someone who just wants to run away…

...but ends up in the heart of it all.
