The moment Broly saw that low-level Saiyan who had been crying as a newborn, an indelible shadow consumed his heart. He could no longer control himself as he transformed into the legendary Super Saiyan. His muscles swelled dramatically, his body becoming a full circle larger than before, radiating an aura of pure destruction.
Vegeta stared at the Saiyan with green hair and violent presence in the crater, shock and fear evident in his eyes. "How can there be other Saiyans? And this one is completely different from anything I've ever seen..."
The atmosphere of terror and brutality swept over both Vegeta and Goku, making them feel as though they were standing in an ice cave, frozen by the sheer malevolence radiating from this new arrival.
"The aura is so terrifying, my body is shaking," Goku muttered, clenching his fists as he kept his eyes fixed on Broly. "But why does this Saiyan keep calling my name?"
"KAKAROT!"
Broly went completely berserk at the sight of the low-level Saiyan before him. He leaped out of the pit with a roar and threw a punch with his massive fist.
Fast. Incredibly fast.
Goku didn't even see how Broly attacked. The blow connected with his abdomen and sent him flying back hundreds of meters. He crashed to the ground, clutching his stomach and sweating profusely from the pain.
"Kakarot, who was almost as strong as me, was defeated with one punch," Vegeta's eyes nearly popped out of his head. The same warrior who had just been fighting him on equal terms was knocked down in an instant. Panic crept into his heart, and his fist trembled slightly as he raised and lowered it uncertainly. "Could it be that this green-haired monster is a Super Saiyan? So powerful!"
"Kakarot~!"
Broly's mind echoed with a devilish voice: Kill him, kill him!
Broly's pupils had disappeared completely, leaving only the whites of his eyes as he stared at Goku lying on the ground several hundred meters away. He jumped into the sky and dove down at lightning speed, raising his basketball-sized fist to strike at the fallen Saiyan. Vegeta was completely ignored.
"I, Prince Vegeta, was ignored?" Vegeta couldn't stand it anymore. He was Saiyan royalty, yet this creature acted as if he didn't exist. "Stop it!"
In an instant, hundreds of energy blasts fired from his hands at Broly in mid-air. The projectiles flew at high speeds, creating loud whistling sounds as they cut through the atmosphere.
Vegeta kept releasing small energy blasts with his hands like a machine gun. Looking at the tall Saiyan who was completely surrounded by hundreds of explosive attacks, he laughed wildly. "Ha! Haha, you'll pay the price with your life for underestimating Prince Vegeta!"
"He's completely lost it," Karnel observed from his position under the tree shade, watching Broly's rampage with analytical interest. "Broly went insane the moment he saw Kakarot. It seems that Kakarot has become his inner demon entirely."
Krillin and the other wounded warriors were all stunned when they saw Goku, who had just been fighting Vegeta on equal terms, suddenly overwhelmed by this new opponent's power. One punch had left him seriously injured on the ground.
"Is this a Saiyan too? Why does he look different from Goku and that guy called Vegeta?" Tien Shinhan struggled to sit up slowly, wiping blood from the corner of his mouth with one hand.
Master Roshi spoke with worry evident in his voice. "Completely different. This Saiyan with emerald green hair and white eyes exudes an aura of destruction and bloodlust. He's a very evil being."
"Karnel, do you know where he comes from?" Krillin asked, pulling out a Senzu bean from his waist pocket with trembling hands. He ate it to recover from his injuries, then handed one to each person in turn. "How is he different from ordinary Saiyans?"
Karnel pondered for a moment, then looked back at the battlefield and said seriously, "We'll discuss this later. Look, Vegeta has angered Broly, and he's about to be in serious trouble."
Vegeta bombarded Broly with thousands of energy attacks within a ten-meter radius around him, then stopped to catch his breath, confident in his assault's effectiveness.
The smoke dissipated, and Broly's completely intact figure appeared in the air, not a scratch on him.
"No injuries at all! How can he be so strong?" Vegeta froze in disbelief, then his expression hardened with determination. "Damn it, don't underestimate Prince Vegeta!"
Vegeta's hands condensed into dazzling golden light as he brought them together, gathering his energy for his ultimate technique.
"Garlic Gun!"
Vegeta's signature attack launched forward, a thick, golden energy wave blasting toward Broly from the center of his joined hands.
Direct hit.
"Ha! Haha! Go to hell, monster! How dare you look down on Prince Vegeta like this?" Vegeta laughed triumphantly, but his expression quickly changed to shock. "Gone?"
His energy wave had only lasted for a brief moment before being casually swatted away by a single hand. The Super Saiyan had vanished from the blast zone entirely.
Broly appeared behind Vegeta in a flash, a trace of bloodthirsty aura emerging from his white eyes. He stretched out his massive hand swiftly and grabbed Vegeta's head before the prince could react, squeezing his skull with enough force to create audible cracking sounds.
"AHHH!"
Vegeta, who was only half Broly's height, was lifted up by the head with one hand. The severe pain in his skull made him scream in agony.
"Hateful insect," Broly growled, striking Vegeta's waist with his basketball-sized fist before throwing him to the ground with the casual force of discarding garbage.
Several ribs in Vegeta's torso snapped from the impact, and his entire body was hurled to the ground like a lightning bolt, instantly creating a semicircular crater ten meters in diameter.
"KAKAROT!"
Having disposed of the annoying pest, Broly roared to the sky again and turned his murderous gaze toward Goku, who had finally managed to climb back to his feet.
"So terrifying," Krillin said in panic, his voice shaking. "That guy called Vegeta was also defeated by one move. And from the looks of it, this monster seems to have some deep hatred for Goku, they'll never stop fighting until one of them is dead. Goku is in serious danger."
The legendary Super Saiyan had arrived, and the real nightmare was only beginning.
