The next morning….
"It's early… too early," Kakashi muttered.
But he still got up, rolled his shoulders, and headed to the basement. The lab lights flicked on with a soft hum. The air smelled of antiseptic and chakra residue.
All around were labeled vials, data scrolls, and notes scribbled in his quick but precise handwriting. This was the silent heart of his most forbidden work, yet it was also the place where he had given gifts to people he cared for.
Today, he'd give three more.
Orochimaru's clone's voice crackled through the seal crystal on the wall.
"I assume you're ready?"
"Already setting up," Kakashi said as he walked to the refrigerated vaults and pulled out three bloodline samples. Each vial glowed faintly, red, orange, and clear blue, like a silent power waiting to awaken.
The first vial was tagged Scorch Release–Pakura.
"So even Pakura's body ended up in Orochimaru's collection." He looked at it with a sigh.
"My paws are everywhere, as you said. But her blood is pure… and perfect for your little snake." Orochimaru laughed faintly.
Kakashi didn't reply. He already knew that.
He turned next to the synthesis table and activated the chakra threads. Glowing symbols lit up around the edge of the bench.
Medical tools floated up in chakra fields. Scrolls rolled open on their own. Three slots lit up, one for each person.
Then he looked to the stairs.
"Anko," Kakashi called with a calm voice.
Not even a minute passed before Anko came down, dressed in a black top and tight pants, stretching like she was preparing for training. She looked excited.
"Finally," she grinned, "thought you'd never ask."
"You're not nervous?"
"Please." She waved her hand. "You already fixed my body, gave me a cool new seal, and lived with me. I trust you more than anyone."
"Alright then. Lay back." Kakashi smiled.
Anko hopped onto the bench and lay down comfortably. Kakashi placed one hand gently over her lower abdomen, his fingers glowing red as the Genesis Seal rotated silently in his palm. A red aura spread across Anko's body.
At first, she just tensed a little. Then the burning pain hit her.
"Gah!" she hissed, gripping the bench, but her eyes stayed steady.
"You okay?" Kakashi asked without removing his hand.
"I'm fine! It stings like hell, but this is nothing." Her grin was strained, but her pride kept her from flinching more.
Soon, the pain faded. A boom of chakra surged from Anko's core and rolled through the lab. Her chakra felt hotter, wilder, drier, and blazing.
"Oh… oh this feels good." Her eyes widened.
Kakashi chuckled. "Scorch Release settled in nicely. Your chakras are already at the primary Kage level. That's fast."
"I like this feeling." Anko sat up and stretched her arms.
"Do some tests. I want to measure heat output and control." He handed her a few test slips.
Anko obeyed quickly. The data she produced was amazing, her affinity for fire and wind made her a perfect match.
After the tests, she walked back to Kakashi and gave him a deep, grateful kiss. "You're the best."
"I'll go get Kurenai!" Then she skipped away with a happy hum.
….
A few minutes later, Kurenai walked in slowly. She looked elegant, but her hands were folded together and her brows were slightly pinched.
"You nervous?" Kakashi asked gently.
"A little," she admitted. "I've read about the Chinoike clan… their power is intense. But I want this. I'm ready."
"Good. Lay back."
She did so, her long dark hair spilling behind her on the bench. Kakashi opened the vial labeled Ketsuryugan, Chinoike, and placed his hand over her abdomen.
Red light spread again, but this time it pulsed in waves, as if syncing with Kurenai's heartbeat. The blood within her body began to react, and she clenched her teeth.
"It's… warm," she whispered. "Like my blood's on fire."
"You're okay," Kakashi said calmly. "Endure it just a little longer."
Kurenai breathed deeply and closed her eyes. The pain was different from Anko's, it was internal, deep in her bloodstream, but still manageable.
Then, with a sudden rush, her chakra flared. It was sharp and beautiful, like crimson glass.
"You adapted fast. And your genjutsu nature is already drawing on the Ketsuryugan's strength." Kakashi said as he stepped back, impressed.
Kurenai sat up slowly, her red eyes glowing faintly for a second before fading. "I feel… powerful."
"Let's confirm it." Kakashi smiled and handed her the test slips.
She ran through the tests quickly, and Kakashi's notes showed a huge leap in precision, chakra quality, and genjutsu strength. Her blood manipulation potential was still dormant, but that would awaken with practice.
"Thank you." After the last test, she walked to Kakashi and kissed him softly.
"Anytime," he said, brushing a hand over her hair as she walked away to join Anko upstairs.
…
Then came the final guest.
Mei walked in with her usual confident steps, wearing a slim blue robe that swayed behind her. She didn't look nervous at all.
"So, crystal next?" she asked.
"It's ready," Kakashi replied.
The vial labeled Crystal Release–Guren shimmered with clear-blue liquid, almost like frozen ice chakra.
"Try not to mess up, doctor." Mei lay on the bench, brushing a strand of hair back.
Kakashi smirked and placed his hand gently over her abdomen.
The red light returned, softer this time. Mei's body absorbed the bloodline with smooth efficiency, barely any reaction, just a mild sting.
She blinked. "That's it? I was expecting something dramatic."
"You're more compatible than I thought."
A few moments later, a rush of cool chakra burst from her. It was clean and elegant, and sparkled faintly in the air. Kakashi could tell instantly, it was high Kage-level chakra. Strong, pure, and perfectly controlled.
"I feel sharp. Cold… but focused." Mei sat up and smiled.
"You're the perfect blend of elegance and death," Kakashi teased.
"Thank you, Kakashi." She walked toward him to kiss his cheek.
But just before her lips touched, he moved his face, so her lips landed directly on his. Her eyes widened, caught off guard, but she didn't pull away.
The kiss lasted a few seconds longer than planned.
"You little…" When they pulled apart, Mei stared at him, putting a finger over her lips.
"Sweet." Kakashi made a playful face.
"Next time, ask first." She rolled her eyes but smiled.
"Where's the fun in that?"
"Behave, genius." She pinched his waist lightly.
After that, Mei did her tests. The results were amazing, her lava and boil styles could perfectly integrate with crystal release for a dangerous, beautiful combo jutsu. Mei herself looked very satisfied.
"Thank you, really." As she left, she glanced back at Kakashi with a soft smile.
Then she disappeared upstairs, her blue robe fluttering behind her.
….
Kakashi exhaled, finally alone in the lab again. He looked over the data.
Three new bloodlines.
Three successes.
Three happy women.
He walked over to his notes and added fresh lines.
Scorch Release-Success. Perfect integration. Chakra: Primary Kage. Seal: Stable.
Ketsuryugan–Success. High affinity. Chakra: Advanced Jonin. Genjutsu output: +80%.
Crystal Release–Success. Extremely high control. Chakra: High Kage. Compatibility: Ideal.
He closed the notebook and turned off the lights.
Tomorrow, he'd train with them and help them master their new powers.
