Chapter 105: The Number One Deceiver
Otis appeared in the forest, accompanied by two children hiding behind a tree to avoid being seen by Otis.
The two children, Faye and Richa, both paused for breath, waiting for Otis to pass.
Otis, who had been walking, stopped and smiled. "Who are they? I've never seen you before. What are you doing here?"
Otis looked at the tree.
The two children looked at each other.
"Risha, run as fast as you can! I'll buy you time."
Risha nodded. "Be careful." Richa ran as fast as she could to get away from Otis.
Otis walked towards the tree. "You're a child, and you're asking for help, but you're running away?"
Faye jumped out of the tree and used her third skill, {Flying Sword}.
A single, clear blue sword shot straight at Otis. Pew!
Otis's mouth hung open, his expression utterly shocked. "Third-rank Martial Artist!?"
A flying sword pierced Otis's head. Boom!
The blue sword pierced Otis's face, and red blood splattered all over the ground.
Otis's lower body collapsed. Thud!
Fay stepped on the flying sword and flew towards Richa. Whoosh!
"Did you do it?"
Fay flew away at high speed, only to see Richa running at full speed.
Risha turned to look at Fay and raised her hand to the sky.
Fay flew over, grabbed Richa's hand, and led her along. Whoosh!
Fay looked ahead and saw the back of another Richa running at full speed.
Fay was shocked to the core. The first person she had her hand on was Richa, but why were there two?
Fay flew and stopped right in front of Richa. Boom!
Risha stopped running and looked at Faye. But before she could ask, she saw Richa Number One holding hands with Faye. She looked at Richa Number Two with a puzzled expression.
They both looked puzzled as to why there was another person.
Risha Number Two spoke up, "Who are you? Faye, get away from that kid!"
Faye let go of Richa's hand.
Risha Number One looked at Richa Number Two suspiciously. "Faye, that guy over there is lying. His goal is to tear us apart!"
Risha Number Two looked at Faye with a confused expression. "Faye, don't believe him. He's a fake. I'm the real one!"
Risha Number One shook his head. "Faye, I'm the real one!" The two Richas began arguing.
Faye raised her hand to stop them. "Wait a minute. Then I'll ask. Did Richa wake up late?"
Faye looked at Richa Number Two.
Richa acted a little embarrassed. "Yes, I often wake up late."
Faye turned to look at Richa Number One. "You ate at the hotel. What was the last dish you two ate together?"
Richa Number One pretended to think. "The answer is, I don't know. I ate it all. Oh dear, it's as hard as I thought. Deceiving without information is this difficult."
Richa Number One transformed back into Otis. "What do you think? Have you ever met this person?"
Richa quickly ran to Faye's side, holding Richa's right hand and immediately holding Faye's hand.
Faye's face showed shock, her body preparing to fight again. "How could you? Didn't I just kill you?"
Otis pretended to think, arms crossed over his chest, his face serious at the question.
Richa's voice came from next to Faye's ear. "When you ask a question, you should look at the person you're talking to.
But that's wrong. I'm a fake."
A playful voice spoke next to Faye's ear.
Fay's entire body was shaking nonstop, unable to keep up with the situation. Fay swung her right hand and punched Richa. Phew!
Risha looked shocked. "No, Fay! It's me!!"
Risha raised her hand to block, her face stunned.
Fay stopped the punch just in time. It was almost hitting Richa's face.
Risha smiled, revealing her beautiful white teeth. "Tricking a kid like this is fun." Richa's smile was so scary.
Fay's punch struck Richa's chest. Boom!
Fay's punch pierced Richa's chest, blood filling her hand.
Risha looked shocked at Fay's attack.
Risha breathed heavily, looking at Fay's shocked expression.
"Fay, you! You! You... you killed me! Why did you do this?"
Fay looked disbelieving that she had just killed Richa.
Risha smiled. "That's why I said tricking kids is fun." The Legend of the Shepherd Boy: He enjoyed teasing her, so he always did it. Mine must be the Legend of the Fox Herder!
Fay lunged back, phew!
Behind Fay, Richa appeared.
Fay prepared to throw a punch at him. phew!
Risha, whose chest was full of blood, shouted, "Don't, that's the real one!"
Fay's hand stopped in front of Richa's face.
Risha smiled. "Tricked again, huh? How easy!"
Fay threw a punch at Richa's face. Boom!
Fay stopped, staring at the blood-covered Richa. "Where's senior Richa?"
"So cruel, slandering me like that, and such a good liar!"
Risha's hands made a gesture as if she was about to cry. "Sob, sob, sob."
Risha stopped joking Back to being serious. "Let's get to the point. I'm interested in doing you a favor. At this age, you can rise to the level of a third-rank martial artist. In the future, you could potentially become as skilled as I am now, even though I'm already the best. Are you interested? Seeing the guy with the broken arm, I'll make you an offer."
Fay thought. "What do you want?"
Risha thought. "I want this item from the Heavenly Sword Sect. It's exactly what I want. A level eight magical item. I want it for an unlimited time. What do you say?"
Fay thought. "I don't know that thing, and I don't know if I'd be willing to give it to you. I'm sorry. It's far beyond my capabilities."
Risha thought. "Then, let's keep it simple. We can make a request later when we meet. This is my reward."
Risha took something out of her pocket.
Tossed it to Fay.
Fay took it and looked at the item in front of her. "What is this?" "
The object in her hand was a fist-sized golden bell with an orange fox pattern.
"It's just a gift. The ability to create flames. It summons something large to fall from the sky.
Hmm...
I don't understand exactly. The short version is that after ringing the bell,
a meteorite will fall, crushing the area you're in, and the flames will burn everything. This gives you time to escape. It can only be used once, because you'll die from the meteorite. So, I recommend not using it. It's a suicide item, you know."
Fay nodded. "Thank you very much. May I know your name?"
"Foxy. Just Foxy, the deceitful Foxy. The thing in front of you could be fake or real. Goodbye."
Risha vanished as if she had never existed, with her body lying unconscious on the ground.
Fay ran over to Risha to check on her. Richa had only fainted, so Faye woke her up. "Senior Richa, wake up already?"
Richa opened her eyes. "Oh, it's morning already?"
"This isn't the time! We have to escape!" Faye carried Richa onto her back and ran away with such speed that she didn't even bother looking back at Fiew!
"Whoa... Slow down, Faye. I'm going to get drunk!"
"No way! We have to escape now!"
Richa looked puzzled, but readily agreed. "By the way, what is this Faye Foxy? After I answered her question, you don't remember anything?"
Faye jumped. "Never mind."
The two headed in one direction.
In the pitch-black prison, Seraph was still staring at the ceiling.
A masked woman stared at Seraph. "You're not really going to tell me, are you?" At this age, he's quite brave.
The seraph could only think, his entire body unable to move. [I give up, so don't rush. I can't move yet.]
Outside the cage, a figure ran toward the masked woman. "Sir, Boss Otis is back. I'll keep watch. Go find him quickly."
The masked woman blocked the way, leaving the seraph to watch over her. "Don't let him escape."
The masked woman began heading toward the conference room.
Outside the cave, Otis entered with a calm expression, his body covered in wounds and blood. [Time for deception. I love it. What should I do with Otis's group? This Foxy will play the role of my friend.] And the one impersonating Otis was Foxy. What exactly was his goal?
