Chapter 106 - Chapter 106: The Two-Headed Angel

Chapter 106: The Two-Headed Angel

In the secret base of the Two-Headed Dragon Group,

A man named Otis sat with a haughty air.

There was a single lamp in the room, and one of his men stood trembling with fear, standing before the leader of the group.

Otis sat with his eyes closed, arms folded across his chest, projecting a commanding presence. He sat at a table with all the chairs empty.

The man stood with awe, with short black hair and a black dragon-patterned suit. He was twenty years old.

Otis, with a displeased expression, turned to look at Gravin, his eyelids fluttering open.

"What's your name?"

Gravin breathed heavily, looking terrified. "I, my name is Gravin."

Otis looked down at his empty table, his face still tinged with anger.

"Do you know what I'm going to say and what I want? Tell me!"

Gravin stared at the empty table. He quickly knelt down, face down on the floor.

"I'm sorry. I don't know. Please, don't kill me. I don't know the truth..."

Gravin said in a trembling voice, his body shaking slightly, showing his fear that Otis was being so unreasonably angry.

Otis used his hand to knock on the table, his blood-stained clothes.

Otis's fingers thumped against the table, making a loud "Pop! Pop!" sound.

"Food? Where's the food?"

Gravin looked up at Otis, his face full of confusion.

"Food?"

"Of course I do. Do you see that empty table? Or do you want me to grill your meat for you?"

Otis's face showed anger at Gravin's refusal to put the food on the table.

Gravin quickly stood up and bowed his head again. With a sweat pouring down his face,

"Sorry. Sorry. I'll go get it right now."

Otis nodded in satisfaction. "Very good, very good. My food requires five-star chicken. Otherwise, you'll be five-star chicken instead. You know where I mean. I don't have a time limit. I'll go get it no matter how many years. Otherwise, you'll die if we meet again."

Gravin lowered his head and looked down at the ground. He saw his own reflection, cast by the light of the lantern. "I'm sorry... I don't know where five-star chicken is..." Gravin said in a fearful voice.

Otis spoke up. "Go find it. I want five-star chicken. Go find it for the rest of your life, you fool. I've given you a mission. A mission to find five-star chicken. Get out before I get angry again!"

Otis shouted ferociously, shooing Gravin outside. The mission is to find five-star chicken meat.

"Understood," Gravin hurried out.

Gravin ran out, passing the masked woman who had entered the room.

The masked woman entered and bowed to Otis.

"Sorry for the delay. Where is that Otis guy?"

Otis looked at the lamp in front of him, which was shaking. "He's on a very important mission. It won't be long before we meet him. Please sit down and tell me what happened."

The masked woman nodded, sat down in her chair, and began to tell him the story.

Otis nodded, looking at the masked woman. "To put it shortly, you were fighting on the outside, unable to participate in the battle

in Serenity Academy, and two other senior executives were killed by someone, with a blonde boy lying on the ground."

"Yes, I have already arrested him. I was going to search for information on that boy, but because you came back early, it was cancelled."

Otis nodded, looking thoughtful.

Otis stood up. "Leading me to the cell like you're thinking of something fun...?"

The masked woman wondered at the words that had just come out. "Fun?"

"Yes, I mean, it's never ending fun. That's why it's so annoying, switching words."

The masked woman had doubts in her mind, but it would be dangerous to open her mouth.

The masked woman could only go along with it.

"Is that so? This way."

The masked woman walked ahead of Otis.

Otis, who was following behind, smiled playfully, but no one saw his smile.

After a while, the two arrived at a cell guarded by a guard.

The masked woman ordered the guard to open the door. "Open the door."

The guard quickly opened the door, allowing the two to enter the cell.

Otis entered, gazing at Seraph, who was staring at the ceiling with a cold expression.

Otis looked at Seraph, who was uninterested in himself, his gaze scanning the motionless boy.

Otis crossed his arms. "You two, get out of here. I just want to talk to you two."

The masked woman and one of his guards hurried away from the cell.

After a while, Otis realized there was no one there.

"So, little one, what's your name? You don't seem to be moving or paying attention even when someone comes in?"

Otis tried to engage in conversation.

But Seraph wouldn't answer, his entire body unable to move. [He's really trying to come to me. Who's this guy again? He looks like a big shot, too?]

Time passed, but there was still no response. Seraph didn't say a word and ignored Otis.

Otis smiled. "Excellent. Quite courageous. Normal people of his age would be interested, but you don't seem interested. You're a brave kid."

Otis smiled. "Then I have a proposition for you. I guarantee your life will be prosperous. Are you interested? If you don't answer, that means you are. This position is something people would naturally be interested in."

Seraph was still confused by Otis's one-sided remark. [No one else said a word, but you just rambled on and on.]

Otis walked over and stood in a panic. Otis's right foot lifted and stomped down on Seraph's face. Phew!

Before the foot could land on Seraph's face, he stopped dead in his tracks. "Such a brave boy."

Otis put the foot that almost kicked Seraph back in his face.

Seraph remained unbothered. [Almost dead. Is this what an inescapable life is like? So sad. What the hell is wrong with my body...?]

Otis opened his mouth. "Congratulations! You won first prize. You'll be the leader of the Two-Headed Dragon Army. Clap your hands."

Otis began applauding the winning Seraph and said he would let Seraph lead the Two-Headed Dragon Army.

Otis waited to see Seraph's reaction, but felt bored instead. "What? No surprise or anything? Boring. But whatever, if you're going to do this, I'll make you immobile. You can move your body at your will."

Seraph's side, confusion was beginning to pile up on confusion! [What part of his brain did he have to make me the leader...!? Are you all crazy? Are you stupid enough to make me the leader? ]

Otis nodded with satisfaction. "Hmm, hmm, hmm. Then I'll prepare for you. I'll send you to the next village. The target is...?"

Otis pretended to think. "I remember now. Our organization has done a lot of evil. It's time to atone for our sins by helping people. Let's do this. This is how we help people. We've done less good than evil. So, this is how it's done. The Two-Headed Dragon Organization will be renamed the Two-Headed Angel Organization. This is getting interesting, huh?"

Otis grinned with amusement. The organization's name was changed without permission, becoming the Two-Headed Angel.

Seraphson was three times more amused. [This is probably a big deal. You guys are abnormal. An evil organization turning good? Breathe, breath, breath, breath. Thinking about this guy's thoughts gave me a headache.]

Otis turned to Seraph. "The meaning of the Two-Headed Angel. Want to know what it means?"

Seraph still didn't respond.

"Can't help it. It means an angel with two heads."

"Huh! "

"The name is true to its meaning. Don't forget to research its meaning. And if you want to survive, pretend to be the leader and save the village of Oren, and I'll let you go. That's all. Show me the spirit of a brave child."

Seraph thought to himself. [I'm not helping you, I'm just going along with it. I finally found a way out. And Seria, if you're looking for me, hurry up.]

Otis picked up a beautiful orange string. It was a magical string that could stop the regeneration of spirit energy.
