Chapter 109: The Troublemaker's Mask
Outside the volcano at the base of the Two-Headed Dragon Force,
Seraph was bound with a magical orange rope.
It was Sela's work.
Many pairs of eyes were wondering what to do.
Aliceanda shouted, "From now on, we will set out for Orange Village to help the villagers. Prepare to depart. This is our new goal, the Two-Headed Angels!"
The shouts caused people to scatter and prepare.
As time passed, some fled because they didn't know why they were staying. Some stayed because they had nowhere else to go.
Some didn't dare flee because they were afraid of dying. Everyone chose to stay.
The Two-Headed Angels were now gathering in large numbers.
Leading Aliceanda, the total number of troops was two thousand. Despite the significant losses, the Two-Headed Angels...
had still had a large force remaining in the attack on Golen Village, demonstrating the power of the group that once dared to invade Tenshin's school.
Alisanda stood there, holding Seraph in a princess pose.
"Two thousand in total. How about we continue, Angel?"
Alisanda asked Seraph, who remained silent.
Alisanda nodded. "I understand. I must lead, right?"
Seeing Seraph's lack of response, Alisanda decided to let her handle the situation.
Alisanda opened her mouth, "From now on, we'll set off. Prepare the people well. Let the surviving administrators from there lead."
The two-headed angel group began to prepare. As time passed, the two-headed angel group set off in the size of an army.
Seraph could only remain silent, unable to do anything.
Time began to pass.
On one side, Sela was sitting in a tree, watching people walk by in an orderly fashion. A large carriage had been made
for Seraph to sleep in.
Sela was shaking her legs. "This sounds fun. What will happen?" This isn't quite interesting. Heh heh. A leader is a child with such a large army. I'd love to know what's going to happen.
A voice came from behind Sela.
"You're here? What are you doing?"
Sela turned to look at the new visitor. "Whoa, a Doppelganger? What are you doing here? I remember I never hired a follower, did I?"
The mysterious man in the black mask came, his voice hard and emotionless. "We're meeting. We've found Black."
Sela smiled with amusement. "Black? He's still alive? You deserve it, finding trouble with the wrong sect. This is how it should be. I thought he was killed."
"He's still alive. We're meeting to prepare to raid and take him. Do you want to come with me? Your abilities are very useful."
"Of course you've been waiting all this long. Are the others here?"
"I've already followed everyone. We'll hold a meeting for all nine."
Sela smiled, overjoyed to prepare for his revenge. "Although it's sad that I won't be able to see this story, I'll go there."
Time passed. Seraph, who was lying in the carriage, was lost in thought, while Alisanda, who was watching over him, was sitting there.
A long time passed. The two-headed angels continued their unhurried journey.
Seraph, bound by the magical rope, began to move. The rope had disappeared.
Aliceanda saw the orange rope disappear. "What happened?"
Seraph remained silent, not saying a word. His body was moving little by little. [He finally moved. It had been so long. How difficult was life?]
Seraph was glad to be able to move again.
Seraph began to sit up and looked at Alisanda, who was sitting quietly, waiting for orders.
The carriage outside was rocked. The collision caused the carriage to rock back and forth. Seraph immediately thought after being immobilized. [After being captured, I suddenly remembered something. Why should I help the village? I'm a child and if I don't follow the rules, they'll surely kill me. Leave all the work to this person. Seraph would like to appoint you as temporary leader.]
"Is this Alisanda?"
Alisanda nodded in agreement. "Yes, Lord Angel."
Seraph sat calmly. "I'm entrusting you with temporary command to help this village. Use your abilities to help this village."
Alisanda nodded easily, not wanting to fight Seraph at all. "Yes, as you command."
Seraph looked at Alisanda's mask. [Is there a mask available for me to borrow like Alisanda's? At least if something goes wrong and the village is destroyed, I'll be able to hide behind the mask properly. This guy must have a spare mask, because he's always wearing it, never once showing any signs of taking it off.]
"Do you have another mask? Can I borrow it?"
The question was normal, but Alisanda's heart tightened. [How did you know I had another mask? I can't not give it to you, but I'm asking to be sure.]
"Did you just borrow it? It's a very important mask."
"Of course. When we get to the village, I won't need it anymore."
"Why only borrow it at this time?"
"Because now is the right time to use a mask." [Borrowing it casually, you overdo it. Borrow it all the way to Orange Village, then go buy me a new mask. That way, the problem is solved. Borrowing it to hide it, or people will misunderstand that I'm related to you.]
Alisanda pretended to think. "Is this the right time?"
"Yes."
Alisanda hesitated a little. But she obeyed. "Here's another mask."
Alixand picked up a yellow whirlpool mask. It was a very patterned mask, and it stared at her. Whenever she put it on, it was like she was hypnotized into obeying her. It was a mask that made people who stared at it for too long feel dizzy.
Alixand held out the yellow mask to Seraph.
Seraph looked at it with a puzzled expression. [This is very suspicious. The other mask doesn't look anything like the one you wear. Well, at least I won't want to wear a mask with the same design.]
Seraph took the mask and held it. It was very light.
Alixand stared at Seraph, confused as to what to do with this mask.
Seraph put the mask on to hide it.
As soon as Seraph put the mask on,
Seraph didn't feel anything at all. It was like a normal mask.
"What do you think?"
Alixand looked very confused. "Nothing happened. Everything's okay?" "
Aliceanda stared at the mask on Seraph's face. [This mask, don't tell me its ability is to hypnotize people into obedience. That's why I value it so much. Angel, who knows all about it,
released the spell. It was a terrifying mask, hypnotizing people into submission. Never seen anything like this before!?]
And thus, the suspicious mask that Seraph borrowed.
A coincidence lifted the spell, leaving Alisanda wondering how this could have happened. Furthermore, the hypnotic mask didn't work on Seraph.
