Chapter 216: The Ball of Prophecy
Pokraras Village. The moonlight still shone down.
Darkness still hung in the sky. The seven-colored rainbow couldn't see the end of the beam of light.
In the stable, the peka had been completely overwhelmed by the rainbow attack.
A large hole formed in his body, and red blood flowed through the air.
His internal organs were revealed. The peka was caught off guard by the attack. Boom!
"So fast, you're playing like this, Yuni?"
A beam of rainbow light pulled him into the peka's stomach. Whoosh!
He entered the peka's stomach. He broke through its outer shell.
A rainbow-like figure appeared, spinning around him.
The new peka spun at blazing speed.
Boom! A rainbow streaked out like a seven-colored cloth, wrapping itself around the peka's body.
The rainbow beam formed a ball.
A circular ball made of rainbow light spun at high speed. Trapped inside, Pegasus.
Pegasus stared fearlessly. "You want to trap me? Dream on!
The rainbow's power was still as disgusting as ever."
The rainbow inside spun rapidly, approaching like a rainbow ball squeezing.
It was rapidly shrinking. Whoosh!
Pegasus pulled on its two white wings, both hands grasping the beautiful white wings.
And with all his strength, he pulled. Slap!
The wings were torn off. Red blood from the center of Pegasus' back flowed out as a stream of blood. The red blood splattered to the back.
The wound from the severed wing revealed the bones that held the wings together.
Pegasus reached out and hugged both wings. "The Pegasus Wings Switch."
White light on both sides of Pegasus emitted a white glow.
A beam of white light from the sky illuminated Pegasus.
And another beam of white light shone towards Pegasus, who was sitting there, shivering, unsure of what to do.
Peka smiled mischievously. "Leave it to me, Yuni."
The white wings vanished. The white light from the sky disappeared. Boom!
The floating Peka closed its eyes once and woke up. "Where is this place!?"
Peka opened its eyes, confused by this place.
A rainbow of light squeezed in. Boom! Peka's arms and legs were pressed in. The sound of bones began to crack.
"It hurts! It hurts!..."
Peka's body was broken little by little. The pain from the compression wracked Peka's body, crushing her flesh.
The bodies were being pushed together little by little, amidst the beautiful rainbow.
A man was bleeding uncontrollably. The pain made Peka cry out.
Peka tried to call for help. "Help! I hurt so much! What is this? Someone, someone!
Help me! The voice began to fade away bit by bit.
Pega screamed, "It hurts! It hurts! It hurts! It hurts! Somebody help me! Help me! It hurts so much! Somebody help me!..."
Amidst Pega's tears, which continued to flow, the pain of being squeezed bit by bit,
The bones were shrinking, and the agonizing cries
All over Pega's body was ripped apart by the compression of the rainbow light. Boom!
The body was crushed, leaving no room for breathing. The flesh and skin, despite its strong bones, could not endure.
In no time, Pega was compressed into a body the size of a ball.
Only its flesh and skin were left, and a single piece of clothing. The cloth, originally white, had turned a deep red.
Outside the rainbow ball, Pega, sitting shivering on the ground, smiled mischievously.
"It was a good death, worthy of my former body."
Pega stood up, wiping the tears from his face.
His hand went to his throat. "Mmm, mmm, my throat hurts so much. But never mind. You were right to prepare this body like this.
It's overflowing with energy. This body was made just for me.
It has to be this way. No one else can do it besides me."
Pega smiled happily, examining his body. "Even though it hurts being a woman, never mind. I'm me. This child is my flesh. So, no problem."
Pega looked at the rainbow ball. The seven-colored light disappeared, revealing a ball of flesh, floating down to the ground at high speed.
The rainbow beam continued to head in one direction.
"No way! You can't warn that guy."
A red meatball landed on the ground. Whoosh! Boom!
Pega ran to grab the meatball, covered in red blood.
"Time to score a home run…!? What the hell is this?"
Pega grabbed the bloodball, got into position, and threw it, hitting him. Whoosh! Boom!
The bloodball hit him. He flew into mid-air. Whoosh!
He landed on the ground. Whoosh! Boom!
"A full hit. Your death was not in vain. Thank you for your sacrifice."
The rainbow beam stopped. Peega's blood stained him until the rainbow was completely covered in blood.
Pega quickly ran to the meatball that had fallen beside him.
Pega reached out and grabbed him. The seven-color rainbow disappeared. All that's left is pitch-black, on Mount Wan.
Pega turned Mount Wan around to examine it. "Interesting, interesting. It works under certain conditions, just as I thought.
What a vengeful old woman! How did she end up here?
I remember it being so far away."
Pega tossed it around. "The conditions for this magical item's activation are
probably set up like this. When it touches something close to me,
it activates, and its goal is to release a beam of light that shoots through me.
Whatever is close to me, it must be the first person I just killed who activated it.
These are flesh bodies I've prepared, so there's a part that's close to me. It's not unusual.
Using that person's blood to trigger the attack almost killed me. But half of the target was achieved. Half was left."
Pega looked at the meatball and smirked. "Forget about the night meal. Let me try a bite. How delicious is my body?"
Pega sat down on the ground. He picked up the meatball and took his first bite. "Mmm, mmm! It tastes like rare horse meat, mixed with an interesting sweetness.
Without the dipping sauce, it's a mistake. Eating raw food like this isn't good for your health.
Just think of it as beef."
Pega used his beautiful mouth to bite the meatball, swallowing it. Red blood stained his mouth as he ate it, delighting in the taste.
If a seraph had seen this, he would have run for the forest. He definitely didn't think he'd find Peega.
How evil was this person, eating human flesh with such delight?
Time passed. Peega finished eating, his mouth covered in blood, both his hands covered in blood.
Pega looked around. "Hand towel, hand towel..."
Pega looked around. There were no hand towels, so he decided to rip off his shirt and wipe the blood from his mouth and hands.
Pega finished wiping his bloody mouth. "Okay, the next step is to harvest the other half."
Going like this, there's a chance that the bone... The rampage outside has been rampaging. Prepare some useful items.
This child has my Perseus family's storage ring. What are you preparing?
Pega opened the ring and picked up something. It floated out and placed it in front of Pega.
It was a clear white crystal ball, or something Seraph had said was used to predict future events.
Pega touched it slightly, as if remembering something. He had seen it somewhere before.
His brows furrowed. Pega tried to remember where he had seen it before.
"This thing, I feel like I've seen it somewhere before. What is it?
Where did I see this thing? I clearly remember this thing. This thing must be used for something."
Pega, because so much time has passed, might have forgotten some things. After a year,
"I remember what it's about. Middle, middle, middle... middle. And it's white...?"
Even though it's been a long time, Pega still remembers it. At the very least, it must be important.
Pega was extremely shocked. The eyes, which had been relaxed, suddenly became extremely tense.
The relaxed expression disappeared, and the mouth that had been wide open in shock trembled violently.
"This thing, my core energy storage, should be in the center of the village...!!"
Pega was stunned by the appearance of the core.
And then it was revealed that it was...
an important thing that should be in the center of the village.
It was Pokralas Village, the place the skeletons were attacking. It was right in the center of the village.
Seraph's clever idea was to simply draw attention.
