Chapter 217 - Chapter 217: How to Counter Bones

Chapter 217: How to Counter Bones

The location, in the center of Pokralas Village, was a square cube, completely white.

It was tinged with black, as wide as a house.

Four people from the Perseus Clan stood guard.

A white barrier had been erected, forming another square.

It was quite large enough for people to practice fighting inside.

Numerous houses surrounded the area, all destroyed.

Many wooden houses were destroyed, leaving no trace of what could be considered normal homes.

The surrounding area was empty. Unfortunately, numerous skeletons stood around, trying to break the white barrier in front of them.

But no matter how hard they tried, the barrier couldn't shake.

A white hand, made of bone, smashed the barrier, but it showed no signs of damage.

The guards were dressed in pure white clothing, bearing the Perseus Clan crest.

The crest resembled white wings. The man with the red eye was in the center, with two overlapping white wings.

The man in white stood smiling with relief, looking at the skeletons. With disdain, "Look, these bones have been doing this for so long. This barrier still can't be destroyed.

That's amazing!"

The white-robed man replied, "Don't underestimate them. Even though this barrier is very strong, if you're not careful, it could kill you."

"I see. What's going on inside the room? Can it be repaired?"

"No, I went in and asked. The repairman said that because the core is gone, the bones were able to regenerate in this village.

If you want to restore it to its original state, rebuilding it is the best way."

"Then I'll have to give up. I remember that this place was built by the first leader of the Persus family.

To use it in a situation like this,

Unfortunately, the enemy stole it before it could be used. The thief must be a Persus family member, because this place... It's the energy source of the entire village.

"Who stole it?"

The man in white looked up. A swarm of bones flew from the sky, and they were enormous in number, heading towards this place.

"Hey! Seriously, are there that many!?"

Swarms of bones of varying sizes surrounded this place. No matter where you looked, there were only bones.

The man in white was shocked by the sheer number. The sound of danger was getting closer.

BOOM! Boom!

The swarm of bones, more than ten times the number before, increased its attack.

But no matter what he did, he couldn't break through the center of the white barrier.

BOOM!

Somewhere in the Persus family's house, a purple teddy bear lay on the floor. A purple light was illuminating the room.

The purple teddy bear was beginning to swell, like a bear about to die.

The bear's head shook as it landed on the ground.

At the stable A flustered Peka ran in the direction of the Persus family.

His expression betrayed a sense of doom.

One hand grasped the crystal ball, and he sprinted through a sea of bones and blood. "Tch! Who stole the core I've prepared for thousands of years and left it here? This is bad luck!"

Peka's hands trembled as he grasped the crystal ball, his anger threatening to erupt. "Don't let me find you, or you'll die! The work hasn't even started yet!

It might be just in time to return this to its original place!"

Peka ran at full speed, heading towards the Persus family's compound.

Somewhere outside of Gollen Village, Seria was hopping from tree to tree, with Sora chasing after Seria.

"Seria, I think we should go back. Let them handle this!"

Seria waved her hands in denial. "No, didn't I already tell you that?" My time to shine has come. Why would I give up?

Sora sighed. "If you don't go back, I'll go back first. If something happens, I won't know."

"I'll make my own decision. Something drew me there, that's why. It's okay, President. I appreciate your concern."

Sora dashed in the opposite direction from Seria. "I don't care what happened..."

Sora, who had been running, turned around when he saw Seria still going in a different direction. His eyebrows furrowed, both hands clutching his head.

"Aww...! Tsk! How annoying! Seria, don't you have any fear?

He's running towards the boss! What are you trying to do!?"

Sora turned around and ran in the same direction as Seria. Whew!

"Seraph, you owe me a debt. No, the debt is gone. So thank you.

Seraph, where did you go at this hour? Seria said...

To take down the Two-Headed Dragon Army. But why hasn't he returned yet?

The magical life-checking item, is that thing still alive?

Sora chased after Seria.

Seria ran at full speed, his hand still staring at his notebook. "What draws us together? This feeling, like something nostalgic?"

Seria ran at full speed through the pitch-black sky.

A human skeleton, holding a sword, shot down from the sky. Whoosh!

A skeleton with white eyes flew straight towards him. This skeleton's sword grip was like a thrust, not a slash to increase attack range.

Seria looked up. "The type of human spirit, I can guess. Red bones, or red eyes?"

It represents death, so those whose souls disappear from their bodies become red eyes.

Seria lunged back. Whoosh! Boom!

Seria smiled slightly, looking at the ground below. The swarm of red bones began to advance, not paying any attention to Seria.

Standing still on a branch, Seria brought out a notebook to record. "Well, I guess this is it. Dealing with the red bones."

Sora floated up to Seria's side. Whoosh! Boom!

"Get away, Seria. This one's dangerous."

Seria made a circular hand gesture, resembling a pair of binoculars.

With the hole in his hand, Seria looked at the white bones.

"I don't know if this is true, but Chairman Sora, it seems the red bones use sound to attack their enemies. So, I suggest you stay still and erase your existence until the bones think you're a log."

Sora glanced at Seria. "Are you serious?"

"Yes, if you're right, it's probably something like that. Tell them to act like logs, and these bones will pass them by. For those with red eyes,"

"Good analysis. What about the green ones?"

"It's probably the same. They're unmanned, so think of them as machines, working under orders."

"Very good information. Let's go. You came to these bones. You survived, which is quite impressive. Let's retreat."

Seria held out her hand. "You go first. I have business to attend to, so go. I promise I won't die."

Sora stared at her for a moment, confused as to whether to knock Seria unconscious and take her.

Sora sighed. "Are you sure?"

"Of course. The great Seria will never die in this place. My reputation will be known throughout the world. Hahahahahaha."

Seria stood there smiling, staring at the skeletons.

Sora started running back towards Gollen Village, leaving Seria alone.

Seria drew her sword. "Then let's begin." Finding the mystery of this kind of event must at least be interesting.

Seria charged forward. Whoosh!

A white bone shot into the sky. Whoosh! Seria came into close range.

Seria looked at the white bone's body. "I already know how to fight the bones. Seeing where they move means the attack will come from that direction.

As long as I can read their attacks,

Because I'm not a human, it's difficult to predict. I can know their movements. Just reading them, attacking and defending, is perfect."

Seria swung her sword and shot it straight into the chest of the white-eyed bone. Whoosh! Boom!

The white bone pierced the ground. Boom!

"Oh... I forgot to mention one more thing. Just erase your existence, like freezing, and counterattack at the moment you need it. That's easy."

Seria floated up to a branch and made a gesture of holding the invisible glasses. "I'm a genius. Brother Seraph is very skilled. Then I'll catch up to you.

Reading the Movement It's called the Future Trap. It's fascinating.

Seria ran forward, leaping from tree to tree, her confidence surging, almost creating a pond.
