Chapter 229: The Celebration
Pokralas Village. Seraph and Fiona began running in the darkness to find Phalen.
Phalen was walking with his younger sister, along with Shuni, who was wearing a blindfold covering her right eye.
Phalen stopped and looked at Fiona. "What do you want?"
Fiona stopped running. With a little effort, she reached her destination.
Phalen had to stop, thinking Fiona still had business to attend to.
She had to stop or she would be chased.
Fiona turned to look behind her and saw little Seraph running, looking extremely tired.
"So slow. Are you playing?"
Fiona began to look slightly angry, like an older sister waiting for her late brother, not paying attention to the time.
Seraph arrived, trying to contain her own exhaustion.

Fiona looked in the direction of Phalen, who was walking with her sister into the Lanna Sect's territory.
Fiona soared into the sky. Whoosh!
Fiona flew at breakneck speed, jumping and spinning, landing. Her destination was right in front of Phalen.

Phalen stopped, looking at the dust in front of her. There was Fiona, smiling brightly. "You heartless bastard! You said you'd help me. Then what did you ask me for? Why did you refuse?"
Phalen began to feel a little irritated. "Are you trying to make a big deal out of it? I'll handle it."
Fiona shook her head, seeing Seraph walking slowly from so far away that she couldn't hear the three of them.

The lights were bright inside, and people were talking. The streets were filled with people.

Phalen looked at the girl, confident she wouldn't cause any trouble.
But she thought sadly, "Isn't it because you didn't want to cause trouble that you caused it?"
Fiona walked with ease, as if it were her own home. There were people crying over the loss of someone important to her, and there were also people who were cheerful, and the restaurant was still open.
