Chapter 230 - Chapter 230: Bring Back the Letter

Chapter 230: Bring Back the Letter

In the Lanna Sect's compound, Seraph and Fiona went out to buy some things, changing into yellow clothes.

The Lanna Sect's robe had a single ring embroidered across the back.

The sky was bright and bright.

The place was extremely quiet, yet at the same time, it felt like another world outside, a dangerous place.

Fiona was browsing the stalls.

Seraph stood behind Fiona. His gaze scanned the surroundings, seeing people with injured clothing running around.

[It was beautiful, like being in a large room with two lanterns spinning in the sky.

There was no darkness, only light. The world was interesting, with beasts and beautiful things.]

Fiona looked in front of the vegetable stall. She owned the largest vegetable stall here.

"Hmm, hmm. Which one should I get? Which one should I get?"

Fiona picked up a vegetable that looked like a pickled mango. With fresh green leaves

and a very fragrant scent. "This is what a party should be like."

Time quickly passed. The two arrived at Phalen's house and opened the door.

Phalen was sitting in a chair, and Shuni, who still wore a patch on her right eye.

Fiona walked in, carrying a package, along with Seraph, who carried more than Fiona.

Fiona placed the package on the table. She saw Shuni and asked curiously, "Shuni's sister's eye can't be cured?"

Seraph stood at the door, not daring to approach, afraid that Phalen would explode with anger and go on a rampage.

[It's starting to get scary. I feel like I'm being stared at by that person too.]

Seraph could feel Phalen's gaze on him, as if he was holding some kind of grudge.

Fiona met Phalen's gaze. "Don't tell me it's because of Seraph's eye patch that your sister's vision can't be restored?" "

Phalen shook her head in denial.

Shuni spoke instead, "No. My eyes are back to normal, but I feel cooler wearing this blindfold, so I want to wear it."

Seraph overheard and started walking towards him, as the story unfolded. [He spoke quickly, but it was over, this kid.]

Seraph walked up to Fiona.

Fiona raised both hands. "Then, let's begin our grand celebration."

"Oh..."

Time passed, and the celebration began. The four of them sat around a table, with Fiona, wearing an apron, standing still.

The other three sat in chairs. The room was pitch black, lit by lanterns.

The table was full of food, each delicious and fragrant. There was meat, dessert, and other common dishes.

Fiona held a ladle, cooking, and held it up.

"Then, let's begin." A Celebration Party!

Two people applauded, clap, clap, clap.

Seraphim and Shuni were clapping, and only Phalen sat silently, looking idle.

Fiona smiled cheerfully. "Then I will open the celebration.

Be glad you're alive. Be glad you have a brain to think.

Be glad your body is moving. Be glad you're moving.

Be proud of your heart that still beats. The celebration of happiness begins...!"

Fiona raised her hand and placed it on the table. "Then, let's talk together. One, two, three. Let the celebration begin...!"

Fiona raised her hand. Shuni raised her hand as well. "Be glad you're celebrating...!"

Seraph followed suit. "Be glad you're celebrating."

[What occasion is the celebration for?]

Phalen remained seated, looking at the three of them.

Fiona gave a cute look, suggesting it was your turn.

Phalen sighed. Laziness was slowly eating away at her. "Let's start the banquet."

Fiona nodded with satisfaction. "Alright, everyone, enjoy your meal. I did my best."

And so the banquet began, without a clue as to what to celebrate.

Time began to pass. Seraph was extremely tired, his eyes red and puffy from lack of sleep, so he excused himself to go to bed. The bedroom was on the second floor.

Khunin, sleepy, went up to his room.

Only Phalen and Fiona were left sitting and resting. Phalen rested his chin, looking dead and malnourished.

Fiona still smiled happily.

Phalen started the conversation, as it was so quiet. "Then why do we have to have a banquet?"

Fiona made a gesture, placing her hand under her chin. "Isn't it just that I wanted to celebrate?"

Phalen stared into Fiona's beautiful eyes, still bright.

"Why can't I know?"

Fiona stretched out her arms. To relax, "Uh… so tired, just looking for happiness, that's all."

Phalen lost interest, and time began to pass. The interior of the Lanna Sect remained bright.

It was nighttime on the second day. The four of them walked outside the Lanna Sect. The damage was still extensive.

The battle had ended. The Lanna Sect members were so busy they didn't have time to rest because they needed to repair things.

Fiona looked at the three of them. "Then, please take this to the Tenshin Sect."

Fiona handed Seraph the envelope.

Seraph took it and nodded. "Have a safe trip, senior."

Fiona turned to Shuuni. "Alright, beautiful sister. Be strong. The desire to be strong is meaningless."

Shuuni nodded. "That's cool. Someday, I'll be like senior Fiona."

Shuuni's eyes held admiration, as if he saw an idol shining in his heart.

Fiona looked at Phalen. "I'll leave it to you, Phalen. If you don't, I'll come and take care of you."

Fiona set off at night, wearing Lanna's sect uniform, with two rings on her back, clothes borrowed from Phalen.

Time passed, and the three walked back into Lanna's sect before finally entering.

Phalen seemed to have an idea. Seraph followed them, considering what to do next, holding a letter in his hand.

Phalen stood in front of Seraph, causing Seraph to stop in his tracks.

Seraph could feel the pressure from him, a strong aura.

Seraph stood there, confused about what to do in this situation.

"Sir, what's wrong?"

Shuni stood there, just as confused as Seraph, unaware of the drastic change in his sister.

Phalen easily snatched the letter from Seraph's hand.

Seraph didn't struggle to get the letter.

Phalen took the white letter with a red seal.

The other two could only stand there, wondering what the man in front of them was planning.

Phalen opened the envelope, revealing the message inside.

Phalen picked it up and read the contents. His face sank into a sad sigh.

Phalen tore the letter open, creaking.

The paper was torn so much that the contents were unreadable.

Seraph stood there, unfazed, unsure of what to do.

[That's a letter of entrustment. What does it say? Won't I die first?]

Phalen turned to look at Seraph. "Let's go. We'll start our journey."

Shuni couldn't help but wonder what to do.

"Big brother, where are you going?"

Phalen grabbed Seraph's arm. "Alright, we'll go find your senior. I accidentally tore the letter, so let's go get a new one."

Seraph was dragged along effortlessly, like a limp doll.

[Huh? Go get a new letter, but you just tore it. Where are you taking me? ]

Phalen turned to look at his sister. "Shuni, I'll probably be back late. In the meantime, go rest at Lanzo's house and take care of yourself."

Shuni saw his sister's expression, very serious.

And Seraph, whose expression was calm, was taken away.

"Have a safe trip. Big sister, go all out."

Phalen waved and led Seraph into the sky. Whoosh!

The ring beneath his feet carried Seraph away hurriedly. Whoosh!
