Chapter 26 - chaos and more Chaos

Next morning

---

Sky's POV — Saturday, Section A

Saturday. Freaking Saturday. Normal kids? Sleeping, eating tapsilog in bed, scrolling TikTok. Me? Stuck in Section A, aka a mental asylum in uniform.

"Why are we here? It's Saturday!" I slammed my notebook.

"Because the Department loves torturing us," Marco muttered, sipping taho like it was whiskey.

I shot my hand up. "Sir, I think school on a Saturday is against the Geneva Convention."

The class cackled. Teacher Salvador pinched the bridge of his nose like he just ate ampalaya without salt.

Beside me, Perry neatly sharpened a pencil. Gentleman vibes as always. Wind? Staring at me like I was lechon kawali dipped in Mang Tomas. Skiez? Acting like the human calculator he is.

Chaos hadn't even started yet.

---

Wind's POV — Saturday

Sky bent over to tie her shoelace. My brain? Straight to R-18.

Her hair fell to one side, her blouse collar slipping just enough. Smooth. Warm. If she were food, she'd be hot sinigang na baboy — steaming, sour, addictive.

I bit my lip.

What if she sat on my lap while eating kare-kare? What if she licked the peanut sauce slow, messy? What if I had her against the chalkboard, sweeter than halo-halo, dripping like melted ube ice cream?

"Wind, stop staring like you've seen a ghost," Perry snapped.

I smirked. "Not a ghost. Something better."

Sky turned, squinting. "Why do you look constipated? Ate too much dinuguan last night?"

The class erupted. My thoughts darker than the adobo on my plate.

---

Perry's POV — Saturday

Sky dropped my pen. Again. I picked it up and slid it toward her.

"Thanks, Perry! You're like a hot pandesal in the morning—soft, dependable."

The class whistled. Wind glared at me like I stole his sisig. Skiez didn't even look up.

I leaned forward and whispered the steps to solve her math problem. She nailed it.

"YES!" she cheered, high-fiving me so hard my hand stung.

Wind's jaw clenched. Marco muttered something about dying young. Skiez muttered "loud."

Helping her? Always felt right.

---

Skiez's POV — Saturday

Noise. That's all Section A is.

Sky roasted the teacher: "Sir, your handwriting looks like lumpia wrapper after frying—wrinkled and crispy!"

The class erupted. I should've been annoyed. But instead… my lips almost curved. Almost.

Then she tripped. Again. I caught her wrist before she faceplanted like spilled halo-halo. Her skin—warm, soft.

"Careful," I murmured.

She blinked, then yelled loud enough for everyone to hear: "OH MY GOD! Skiez has a heart! Somebody cook him sinigang to celebrate!"

Class erupted again. I sighed. But deep inside… I didn't let go.

---

Sky's POV — Recess

We marched to the canteen like hungry zombies. I slammed my tray down.

"Ate! I want sisig, pancit canton, adobo, turon, buko juice, and… oh, throw in kutsinta! Cheat day!"

Marco groaned. "Every day is cheat day for you."

Wind leaned close. "Sky, you sure you can handle all that in your mouth?"

"WHAT THE HELL, WIND?!" I smacked his arm with a spoon. Class nearly died laughing.

Perry carried half my food. Skiez paid for my meal because I "forgot" my wallet. Again.

"You owe me," Skiez said flatly.

"Put it on my tab, mister credit card." I winked.

Table roared.

---

Wind's POV — Recess (dirtier)

She ate sisig with fingers. Licked the sauce. I couldn't breathe.

My brain? Filth.

Her straddling me like a chair, feeding me halo-halo, tie wrapped around my fist, moaning like boiling sinigang.

"Wind, drooling," Sky teased, smearing ube halaya on my cheek.

One day… she'd be mine.

---

Perry's POV — Lunch

Sky talked with her mouth full of adobo. "Guys, imagine if life was like pancit—long and complicated!"

I handed her a napkin. She grinned like I'd given her gold.

Wind kicked my chair under the table. Skiez muttered "childish." Marco almost walked out.

I kept helping her. Someone had to.

---

Skiez's POV — Lunch

She forgot her wallet. Again.

I sighed, handed cash to the cashier.

Sky clasped hands dramatically. "THANK YOU, MY SPONSOR! Without you, I'd starve like a poor siopao left in the steamer."

Class erupted. I shook my head. Trouble. Disaster. But smiling like life was a joke? I didn't mind.

---

Sky's POV — After School

Bell rang. Everyone packed up.

"Finally! National Chaos Day complete. I survived with turon energy!"

Wind smirked like a devil. Perry smiled like a saint. Skiez shook his head.

"Who's treating me halo-halo?" I yelled.

Chaos continued.

---

Sky's POV — Sunday, National Chaos Day at the Mansion

Sunday morning. Birds chirping, sun shining, me… wrapped in a turon blanket.

"SKY!! WAKE UP!"

Blanket ripped. Screech.

Kuya Rick: hands on hips. "It's nine! Everyone's waiting downstairs!"

National. Chaos. Day.
