From Kane's perspective
We were walking down the bustling streets of Orario, and I don't know how, but she managed to talk me into helping her carry a package of groceries to "The Benevolent Mistress."
"I'm surprised."
"What at?"
"Well, you always go with… uh…"
But she immediately cuts me off:
"With Ryu."
"Yeah… with her. So why are you alone today?"
"We have a lot of work today, so I'm alone."
"I see."
I was hoping she would finally shut up and we would spend the whole way in silence. Not that she is beautiful, I wouldn't send her to hell (нахуй). So I have to put up with her, but outwardly I try not to show it.
"You haven't come to our place in a while."
"Of course, how else," I thought.
"I've been busy the last few days."
"Oh really? I see… So, have you found a team yet?"
"Team?"
"You said you were going to find a team."
"Oh, no. I've been helping the family all these days."
"Oh, I see, family. That's very commendable and cute."
"Cute?" I tossed her a questioning glance.
I didn't see anything cute or commendable about it, because Miyach gives me the strength, and I help him. You could call it mutual aid.
"Yes, cute."
"I don't understand."
"Ha, how silly."
"What…"
"We're here. Come on in, I can't let you go without feeding you."
Before I could finish speaking, we arrived at our destination. Before I could do anything, she started shoving me into "The Benevolent Mistress." Of course, if I didn't want to go in, she wouldn't be able to drag me in.
Entering "The Benevolent Mistress," I was greeted by a crowd of people, shouting, the cries of drunken scum. I couldn't find any more words - how else could they be called? To bring your body to such a state that you can barely move your legs is very pathetic. And the most pathetic thing is that they all understand what will happen to them, but they still do it.
"Come on, quickly, while there are free seats."
My thoughts were interrupted by Syr, who pulled me to a free seat. Of course, it was surprising that there was a free seat at this time. How lucky should I be - or, on the contrary, unlucky? But in my case, it's definitely not to my advantage.
I already felt quite annoyed that Syr had prevented me from taking my revenge… But to be more precise, Kopii's revenge - but that's not so important. And the fact that there was a free seat at this hour only added insult to injury.
"I should have sent her to hell (нахуй) from the start."
Time Later
From a third-person point of view
It took Kane a week to find out about this woman and the men. As Kane understood, she was half a merchant - that's what he could call her. After all, she was deceiving pathetic, naive children who came to the city in search of dreams and happiness to become heroes.
He could understand why she did this: after all, such nonentities have nothing behind them. So why not fool them? They can't even do anything to them.
The guys were luckier: they were just beaten and robbed or simply killed. But the girls were less fortunate: they could also be beaten, but in most cases they were simply raped and killed or thrown away like used toys.
Kane didn't personally understand this, but from their conversation he could understand that it was quite common. The fact of this aroused hatred in the depths of his soul - so strong that he began to be consumed by thirst.
Kane barely restrained himself from killing them right there. Running away quickly, he did not understand why he reacted like this, but he quickly found the answer to this question. And it is that it was not his feeling, but Kopii's.
And Kane's understanding of this caused nothing but fear. Of course, he tried to deny this, but denying it to himself was the stupidest thing he could do. So he had to come to terms with what he was afraid of: even in this state, Kopii could unconsciously influence his feelings. In other words, it would not be difficult for him to seize power over the body at any second.
The fact that if Kopii wanted to take power over the body, he wouldn't even feel resistance. He could lose his freedom at any second. All his freedom could be lost in an instant if Kopii so desired.
He realized something else: there is a high chance that Kopii is now in the same state as he was all the time when Kopii controlled the body. He's just silent all the time. So at any second he can regain control of the body.
"All this time I was under an illusion of power?!" Thinking this, Kane tried with all his might to restrain his raging anger, but he was doing so very poorly. And the broken furniture confirmed this.
But this gave him very little. The rage didn't go away.
"Bitch! Why does everything turn out like this! I hate it!"
Bang.
Crack.
The mirror shattered to pieces. Kane looked at his face reflected in the shards. His face was completely filled with indescribable hatred for his position. That he is so pathetic.
"I'm like a fucking dog!"
He shouted to himself.
Now knowing for sure that his freedom is possibly only because that's what Kopii wanted.
So he decided not to hold back his anger and hatred, but simply direct it in another direction.
And instantly, in a second, he jumped out of the house and headed to the place of their store - the place of their gathering, where they all gather and boast. There were only seven of them, and they were all commanded by a woman. She was on the second level, and the others were on the first. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't find out which family they belonged to. But definitely not one.
Time Later
"First!" he exclaimed mentally.
This was the first he was going to take revenge on, because he could disappear and then reappear. But that doesn't matter, because today his place will be completely finished. This was the only day they all worked - once a week.
"How few. Is that all? Are you fucking kidding me?"
Punch.
The first one was beating his next victim.
"Damn, I've been saying for a long time: you need to look for a bigger fish. You understand, don't you?"
…
"What do you understand? Damn, someone like you."
Punch.
Hitting him again, Kane saw that the boy's body was no longer breathing.
"Dead," Kane realized, preparing to attack at the right moment, spending the least amount of time on his murder.
"Hey!"
Punch.
"Are you even listening to me?!"
Punch.
"Do you think I'm a joke?"
"Oh, what, you're a complete idiot?" Kane couldn't help but wonder about his strange behavior, which he couldn't explain logically. Didn't he see that he was dead? Oh, whatever.
Whoosh.
Thud.
Wiping all the blood from the sword, he headed for the next target.
It took him a little longer, but he found the second victim, who was in the process of raping a dead girl. Her lifeless eyes made this clear to Kane.
"… What… cough… cough…"
Piercing his heart with one precise movement, Kane didn't want to linger here. Quickly searching the corpse, finding a rather meager amount of money, he wanted to move on to the next target, but casting a glance at the girl…
"What!" Kane cried out in panic.
His eyes widened in panic - he couldn't feel the body. But that quickly disappeared, giving him quick control over the body. Looking at his trembling hands, he guessed what had just happened.
"Kopii,"
He whispered to himself, grinding his teeth, trying to direct his anger at the next target, which he did perfectly.
Kane ran with all his might - so that he quickly arrived where he needed to look for him. But there was one. But Kane didn't care - he moved into battle.
"Ah…"
Bang.
The man didn't have time to exclaim as Kane smeared his face against the wall.
Punch.
Punch.
Punch.
But Kane didn't stop - he kept hitting. His hands trembled with rage, which he decided not to hold back, but let it all out. He beat him so much that only mush remained of him. But the anger didn't go away, it only intensified.
His whole body was covered in blood and remnants of this devil's brains.
"Ha-ha-ha. Bitch!"
Bang.
.
