Chapter 153 - 153 Franky

The Galley-La Company truly lived up to its name as the greatest shipbuilding factory in Water 7, and even the whole world.

No matter how messy Sherwin requests seemed, Iceburg only gave them a quick glance before agreeing without hesitation. In less than two hours, he had already drawn up the blueprints.

Sherwin couldn't really make sense of such things, so he handed the designs directly to the more professional Huamei Meow.

"No problem, it a wonderful ship, meow." After carefully going through the blueprints, Huamei Meow said to Sherwin, "I can't wait to set sail on this new ship, meow."

"Since Adam Wood is rather difficult to handle, the ship remodeling will take a bit longer." Seeing that Sherwin had no objections, Iceburg added,

"In the meantime, you can enjoy yourselves here in Water 7, or take the sea train to Pucci, the City of Food, or St. Farud, the City of Carnivals."

"The City of Food!" Sanji Meow eyes lit up.

"The City of Carnivals!" Klee Meow shouted excitedly.

(=ω=)

Even if Iceburg hadn't mentioned it, Sherwin was already planning the same. The Grand Line map had to be completed sooner or later, and with time to spare, there was no harm in exploring.

But before that, he wanted to thoroughly explore Water 7 first.

Leading the Felynes out of the Galley-La Company, Sherwin soon noticed a commotion in the distance.

Driven by curiosity, the group went closer, only to see a half-naked weirdo wearing only swim trunks, striking poses atop a tall building to the rhythm of music.

"Everyone, are you super today?! I am the most super man on this island! The underground ruler of Water 7! That right, people call me—Franky!"

Franky raised both arms high, clapping the star-shaped symbols in his hands together, and loudly shouted down below.

At his sides stood a pair of square-haired sisters, looking nearly identical, striking the exact same pose as him.

"Get off this island!"

"Run! He about to start causing trouble again!"

"Damn thug! He should be caught and hanged!"

The residents of Water 7 hurled curses at Franky from below, but he remained completely unfazed.

Franky, huh…

Sherwin glanced at the cyborg who was busy showing off his presence above, then turned around with the Felynes and started to leave.

He had no interest in the Pluton blueprints hidden inside Franky body. After all, he couldn't read ancient script, nor did he care about ruling the world, let alone becoming some "Warlord"

Even if he truly wanted Pluton, rather than wasting time and effort building one, it would be easier to just head to Wano and take the ready-made one there.

But even though Sherwin had no intention of bothering with Franky, Franky decided to approach him first.

"Wait up, brat! Your kitties are pretty damn fine—this super me has my eyes on them!" Franky pointed down at Sherwin from above and said, "How about joining the Franky Family, huh?"

The square-haired sisters at his side were staring at the Felynes with sparkling eyes, so distracted they couldn't even keep up their poses anymore.

Sherwin turned back toward Franky with an expressionless face…

If the Franky Family robbing Luffy and his crew of their money could be explained away—since Luffy group were pirates, so taking from them was basically free loot—then this kind of forceful "invitation" Franky was giving now proved that he really was nothing more than a thug.

Well, it made sense. Franky himself claimed to be the underground ruler of Water 7. In essence, he wasn't that different from Capone Bege—just that his way of doing things was a little more upright.

At the very least… Franky wasn't directly robbing, he was offering recruitment, wasn't he?

Sherwin couldn't help but let out a short laugh. If it had been back when he first crossed into this world, he might have felt some disappointment and anger. But now, he didn't feel much at all.

After traveling through the pirate world for so long, he had gradually grown used to this common "say whatever on your mind" behavior.

To be fair, people like Franky, who lived however they pleased, were indeed easy to find annoying—but at the same time, they were easier to deal with. Everything was out in the open, no need for much scheming.

That being said, getting used to it didn't mean Sherwin had any intention of blending in with these so-called "straightforward" types.

Without a word, he drew Longsword and thrust sharply toward Franky in the distance.

Monster Hunter Style · Crimson Horn.

After "Scarlet Sky End" had given the once name-struggling Sherwin some inspiration, he had started gradually infusing his techniques with Monster Hunter elements, making his "Monster Hunter Style" truly live up to its name.

A sharp whistling sound tore through the air. Franky didn't even have time to raise his arm to block before Sherwin thrusting version of the Flying Slash struck him, sending him flying far away, straight down into the lower levels of Water 7.

"Big bro!" The Square Sisters cried out in alarm as they rushed after him.

Sherwin sheathed his Longsword, then continued leading the Felynes toward the storage point for the King Bulls, secretly feeling relieved in his heart…

Luckily, Franky had been the one to come and make trouble first. If it weren't for his attempt to recruit the Felynes under him, Sherwin wouldn't have remembered that Franky had two Emperor King Bulls under his command, Sodom and Gomorrah—monsters that looked just like kaiju from Ultraman.

Otherwise, Sherwin wouldn't have had much interest in fighting just now. He would've simply left with the Felynes, and Franky probably wouldn't have chased after them.

But things were different after he struck. The attack he had just unleashed wasn't even a Spirit Blade Slash, so the damage wasn't strong.

With Franky modified body, that strike not only couldn't kill him, it wouldn't even cause serious injury.

And with Franky explosive temper, there was no way he'd give in so easily. When he came back for revenge, Sherwin would naturally get to see those two Emperor King Bulls.

As large-scale monsters that had shown off brilliantly in the original story, they should at least be worth a Summoning Ticket Fragment, right?

Sherwin, however, refused to dwell on the frustrating fact that neither the Sandai Kitetsu nor the Giraffe Zoan Fruit had dropped him any fragments…

And then…

Sherwin quickly realized he might have been overthinking it. Forget whether a Summoning Ticket would even drop—those two King Bulls might not even be around right now!

According to the workers at the King Bull storage point, Franky had only suddenly appeared in Water 7 about half a year ago.

From there, he quickly unified all the local punks and established the ship dismantling company known as the "Franky Family."

Most of that wasn't important to Sherwin. What mattered was that Franky had only just returned to Water 7 around this time, so there was no guarantee he had already saved those two Emperor King Bulls!

Sherwin also recalled that when Luffy and the others went to trash Franky place, those bulls never showed up.

So, just like Mohmoo, the Sea Cow raised by Arlong, they probably lived in the ocean most of the time and only appeared when summoned by their master.

But that time was because Franky wasn't around. Now, wouldn't the situation be different?

Then again, considering the sheer size of those two bulls, Franky wouldn't be able to just stroll into the city with them, right?Wait—no, back then Franky had saved them from inside the belly of a Sea King. Which meant, at this point in time, they probably weren't that big yet…

After struggling with the thought for a long while, Sherwin suddenly slapped his thigh hard—

What was the point of thinking so much? Just go straight to their base and fight!

That way, as long as those two King Bulls had already been saved by Franky, then he would definitely summon them out to help.

Even if they might not be of much real use, Sherwin still scooped up Klee Meow for a lucky squeeze to draw some good fortune, then led the Felynes onto a rented small King Bull, heading straight for the Franky Family base to unlock those monsters in his bestiary.

And then…

They ran right into the fully assembled Franky Family.
