Without wasting anymore time her eyes flicked back to Evelyn, colder than before.
At that moment, Lady Willow's lips curled into a satisfied smirk as the security personnel approached. She folded her arms across her chest, tapping her polished nails against her sleeve as if she were already certain of the outcome. When the man stopped before her, she wasted no time in spinning her tale, her voice loud enough for a few onlookers to overhear.
"This little girl," Lady Willow said sharply, pointing at Evelyn as though she were pointing at a criminal, "doesn't belong here. I am very sure she sneaked in when the guests were entering. Her mother must be one of the cleaners in this mall. I wouldn't be surprised if she smuggled her in to steal. That's the only explanation. You should question her. Interrogate her properly. She'll confess."
