Cecilia had just finished what she went into the room to do. Her steps were calm and measured as she walked back out, wiping her hands with a white cloth that had small, red stains along the edge. Her expression remained composed, cold, and unreadable, as if whatever happened inside that room didn't even affect her heartbeat.

She headed toward the parking lot with her shoes clicking softly against the tiled hallway floor. The silence around her was thick, the kind that made ordinary people uneasy but not Cecilia. For her, this kind of silence was peace. It meant the mission was complete. No loose ends.

But as she turned the corner leading into the underground parking area, she suddenly slowed her steps. Her eyes narrowed so slightly.

There standing beside the black SUV parked two spaces from hers were two women.

They weren't random strangers.

No, her eyes locked on them instantly.

Victoria And Linda.

Her heels came to a complete stop, for a moment, none of them moved.
