JESSIE
I don't stop pacing around the living room, I take a look at my phone at the time, and I don't even know how many times I've looked at my phone. Maybe ten times now? I'm getting worried. I was at ease before, I even finished the tea that Mira convinced me to drink, but then I heard Jeremy scream, and after that, I've been spiralling.
"Jezzy, come on you have to calm down. It's going to be fine," Sebby says to me. And I don't even listen to him or even look his way. I don't stop pacing around, I play with my fingers. A habit I have when I feel anxious, worried or scared.
Haven't done this in a long time.
Just when I thought being a supernatural creature would destroy the habit I've so heavily loathed.
"He's right, dear, you have to relax. Please sit and have another tea." Mira pours some tea into the cup, and no offence to her, her tea is great and all, but I don't want to drink another fucking tea. I want to be with my boyfriend.
